Ugh, these side effects!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
The sema-to-tirz side effect difference is dramatic for some people - zero side effects on tirz after severe nausea on sema is an extreme version of a real pattern. The mechanism difference seems to matter for GI tolerance in a way that's hard to predict ahead of time.

Rough diarrhea kicked in two days after my first higher dose, lasted about three days straight. Then had white bread and got hit with awful stomach cramps during week two. Nothing since then though, just smooth results.

Quit the first attempt after six months because of stomach trouble. Really trying to avoid a repeat this time but it's not looking promising. Taking probiotics, staying hydrated, and had upped fiber but had to scale that back due to discomfort.

Tell that to my gut. Multiple rounds of explosive diarrhea daily for weeks straight, until psyllium husk got introduced, and now it's few and far between. Some placebo effect that would be.

Yeah, dug into it and heartburn or gas can definitely show up. Really hoping any cramping stays mild, keeping Gaviscon and esomeprazole ready just in case. Thanks for the eating tips too, those actually helped a lot.

Thanks! Doctor advised against taking that anti-diarrheal medication. Staying on top of hydration and taking probiotics though.

Five weeks in myself and genuinely nervous going in too, but after that first shot it really wasn't so bad. Worst side effects so far have just been a bit of nausea, no actual vomiting though, mostly tied to specific smells. Also been getting the sulfur-tasting burps, took some digestive enzymes recently and that actually seemed to help. Also make sure protein, electrolytes, and fiber intake stay up, genuinely makes a difference with the constipation.

Landed on the rougher end of the side-effect spectrum unfortunately. What's helped most has been a daily fiber and probiotic routine, keeping gas relief tablets within reach, and Pepto on standby. Staying well hydrated matters too, and some tiredness should be expected, though most people don't run into nearly this much trouble. Wishing the best here!

Nothing severe side-effect-wise. Did notice some skin sensitivity early on, along with a bit of stomach trouble when I first attempted twice-weekly dosing at 8mg. Dropped to 7mg for a single dose, planning to go back to 8mg tomorrow. Sleep's been choppy, but I'm holding onto reasonable quality with some conscious effort.

That should cover most of what was asked.
