UK just approved the orforglipron pill - anyone here planning to ask for it?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
MHRA gave the green light to orforglipron this morning, so private telehealth clinics will probably have it stocked soon, exciting news.
Hoping the added competition puts some pressure on pricing for the wegovy pill too.

The official line reads that, like every GLP-1 receptor agonist, safety and effectiveness will stay under close review going forward. UK's now first in Europe to approve it for both weight management and type 2 diabetes.

Still not officially approved yet, though it's in its final review stage and getting close. Runs significantly cheaper too. The older medication targets just one receptor pathway, while this newer one works across three separate receptor types. Delivers the same effects as the older option but also boosts metabolic rate on top of that.

Orforglipron, Lilly's pill with the awful name, got FDA approval back on the first of April (no kidding!). It's sold as Foundayo, which beats what I expected. Curious how the market takes it and where the price lands. I recall the numbers floated being around the Zepbound cash price for the uninsured, so not great...
