I can't even believe it. I began this journey at 250 lbs, a hefty weight that burdened me physically and mentally. Today, the scale showed 199.8! I am officially under 200lbs! This drug has been truly transformative. Simple things I took for granted, like bending over to tie my shoes, are easier now. I thank heaven for this medication. It's given me a new lease on life.

Starting weight: 250 lbs
Current weight: 199.8 lbs
Goal weight: 170 lbs

I'm stuck at the same weight with a very similar goal! It seems impossible, but I'm hopeful I'll get where you are eventually. Congrats!

I also started at 250! Now I'm down to 216. So excited to break 200. My joints feel *so* much better.

I'm starting at the same weight. Can I ask how long it took you? I’ve been on it a month at the lowest dose. Next week I go to 0.5mg. I’m so nervous it won’t work because I’ve only lost a pound. Everyone else seems to lose 5-10 pounds the first month 🙈

Of course! It's been about 7 months. Don't be discouraged by slow initial loss. Everyone responds differently, and the higher doses definitely ramped things up for me.

That's amazing progress, Checkup! I'm curious, have you noticed any issues with fluid retention? I've been feeling a bit bloated lately.

I haven't personally, but I've read that some people do. Some have found tesamorelin can help with visceral fat, which is connected to water retention.

Wow, that's so inspiring! I saw a picture of myself from before I started, and the difference is huge! I can see my legs aren't doing that weird thing where they don't quite touch anymore. I can stand up straight!
