Unexpected Win!

I've been working my way through a book series I adore, maybe 11 or 12 books in total. Read them countless times over the last few years. I'm on Rybelsus now for about 60 days or so, and this time, I'm finding so much more depth. Not just little details but big plot points I somehow missed before. It's as if my brain is finally slowing down enough to really take everything in.

I can't wait to rediscover all my old favorites.

The author is Andrews -- the Kate Daniels series. I'm heading to my job now, but will reply when I can. Peace!

Those off-the-scale wins are really awesome. I saw improvements in energy and my sleep schedule after starting on sema through my telehealth provider.
That's awesome! Increased energy is definitely something I am looking forward to. I'm also hoping for better sleep.

It's funny what changes you notice. I've dropped maybe 50 pounds since starting this whole journey. And yet, some days, I still look in the mirror and see the old me. It's wild. My therapist suggested acknowledging the feeling, but then reminding myself of the objective facts -- like my smaller clothing size.

That's so interesting. I think I get that. It's like your brain hasn't caught up to the new reality yet. I am trying to be kinder to myself about the whole body image thing.

I'm down to about 180 now, started around 240 last year. It's been an amazing change. Like, I actually liked how I looked in photos at a wedding recently. It's the little things, you know?
