V2 pen dose accuracy?

When you get it, you should give it a test run (I only tested one of mine, and then just hoped for the best with the rest of 'em). You'll need an insulin syringe, some water, and the pen itself.

Yeah, that wasn't my original idea, but it looks like it should be the most reliable way to measure. You can also check multiple doses without wasting anything by pushing the water back into the cartridge using the syringe.

Thinking of grabbing a V2 pen. Has anyone tested the dosage accuracy? Heard the V1 wasn't great.
It's crucial to verify the accuracy of any dosing device, especially with medications that require precise administration. The method suggested by @BigMike2SmallMike, using an insulin syringe to measure the dispensed volume, is a sound approach.

I remember reading some people feel better staying at a lower dose longer. I wonder if that applies here? Like sticking with the starter dose if you see results on it.
Dosage titration is a personalized process. While standard protocols exist, individual responses can vary significantly. Continuing with a lower dose that yields satisfactory results and minimizes side effects can be a reasonable approach, provided it's done under medical supervision.

Brand name pens are hard to mess up dosing with. Grey gives you control over dose. Can do multiple times per week for stability. Can adjust in smaller increments than 2.5mg per week.

330 euro for 3 months at 6mg is on the mid-range of what people report in EU markets. Price per dose gets better at higher doses if the pen allows a full range. Prescription-only access cuts out the sourcing flexibility that compound or research channels offer.

V2 accuracy varies by dose range - more consistent than V1 for most people, but variance at lower doses is still a real factor. If you're at a dose where 10-15% off changes your experience, the pen may not be precise enough to rely on. The community consensus is that vials plus syringes give tighter control for people who need it.

New pens work different so don't judge them by pics online. If you followed the instructions right, you got the full dose. The manufacturer isn't shorting anyone on what's actually in each pen.

V2 pen accuracy is better than V1. The premixed 6x scenario is a different format issue - draw consistency per shot is the practical accuracy test.
