Veggies: Good or evil?

Don't overdo it on raw veggies. They can really mess with your stomach. Especially broccoli.

Learned that the hard way. Cooked veggies seem to be okay though.

Steamed broccoli is my usual side dish most nights. I used to snack on raw carrots, but then I realized they were surprisingly sugary and caused some, uh, digestive issues. 🤪

Dude, it was awful. I ate a whole head of raw broccoli on Tuesday. I was tasting broccoli until Thursday. I seriously thought about going to the ER on Wednesday, I felt so bad. Almost made myself throw it all up.

I didn't because I was afraid of choking since it probably wasn't digested much lol.

I've found what I eat makes a HUGE difference on this medication. If I eat lots of protein and fiber, with some fruit & yogurt I feel pretty good vs. if I eat junk, like pizza? Nausea and heartburn.

So true! When I go off my eating plan, even a little, I lose the progress I've made. Sticking to the healthy habits I developed really helps me.

I'm finding I need to be more careful with portions. I'm using a food scale now to keep me honest. It's especially helpful with things like peanut butter, which I could easily overeat!
