Vision probs on GLP-1s?

I'm in my 40s and I've been slowly losing my eyesight since I was a teenager. Genetics, probably!

The devil's in the details. They mentioned not having details to the patient charts, but highlight how statistical bias may contribute to result findings. It's not like the original researchers themselves addressed whether this is a Semaglutide alone issue or a GlP-1 issue, and also whether this was diabetes related vs Sema in obesity alone.

My eyesight in one eye has been worse for about half a year now... could be totally unrelated though.

I went in for an eye exam because I thought my vision was getting worse since starting sema, and he was just plain rude. Kept commenting on how much better I look now that I've lost weight. Like, okay, thanks for the backhanded compliment?

Are you diabetic? Getting your blood sugar under control can affect your vision.

That's awful, ThinTale! Find a new optometrist. Vision is important and you need someone you trust.

Just a heads up, everyone: some compound pharmacies are issuing recalls of injectables because they aren't what they're supposed to be. I saw an article about one doing that.
