Weed, cravings, and GLP-1s

For me it's the appetite suppression making drinks taste off. Edibles are different though since it's just one gummy, and sema wipes out the munchies anyway so there's nothing pulling me toward eating more.

There's a compound called THCV, some call it diet weed, that actually kills the munchies instead of causing them. It's a real thing.

If you're a regular smoker, don't be shocked if quitting brings on sema-style stomach trouble lasting roughly seven days. Withdrawal is a real thing, nausea, loose stools, all of it. Appetite will likely drop even further once the smoking stops too.

Deal with pretty severe seizures sometimes whenever a medication switch happens. Started using medical cannabis around a year back and things have stayed calm since then. This medication class never made mine worse than they already were.

Really glad that worked for you! Unfortunately a bit hesitant to try that route myself since my other medications could interact badly. That said, I do keep some low-dose edibles around for occasional use, might try one depending on how rough the vomiting gets.

Good to hear the nausea eased up for you eventually. Hoping I adjust to this amount soon too and it settles down for me.

Cannabis is really the only thing that works for me during downtime.

Should mention the nausea did eventually clear up entirely. I'm sitting at the top-tier amount now and rarely feel sick anymore, rare enough that it may not be tied to the semaglutide at all.
