I'm a 52-year-old male, started at 297lbs, now at 170lbs, down from 187lbs. It's been one year on Wegovy, and honestly, it's been a game-changer. Lost about 127 pounds and feeling fantastic. Just wanted to express my gratitude for all the encouragement here!

A quick reminder of the community guidelines. Discussions about non-approved versions of semaglutide are prohibited, as is the buying or selling of any medication. Do not agree to private messages offering such, they are not endorsed by this community.

Incredible transformation! You must be thrilled! Good for you! I'm only about 3 weeks in and haven't seen any movement on the scale. Feeling pretty bummed, tbh. Are you planning to stay on Wegovy indefinitely? Sorry if that's a silly question, I'm still learning about all this.

Wow, what a change! You seem to be doing amazing. Honestly, you looked really good in your before picture too. I'm starting around where you were. I'm nearly 6 feet tall and have always been told I carry weight well. I'd say the same for you. You could be the poster child for semaglutide. Any tips you can share? I've lost about 20 lbs, but I've been on it for over a year.

Great reminder to be patient. I dropped like 25lbs in three months, and now my progress has slowed. Gotta remember it's a marathon. You are glowing!

I can relate to those non-scale victories. I started in January and just managed to zip up a pair of jeans two sizes smaller than what I was wearing during the holidays!

That's awesome! I can't wait to get to that point. It feels like an uphill battle sometimes.

That's so cool! I'm really hoping for some non-scale victories too, like fitting into old clothes. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hey TrimSis, the best advice I'd give is just to keep at it. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Also, try to focus on getting enough protein and drinking plenty of water. That seemed to help me.
