So the company matched pricing on the generic Ozempic side only, since there's technically no approved generic standing in for Wegovy specifically, even though it's the same underlying drug.
That's exactly why the generic pens only ship in doses matching Ozempic, not Wegovy.
Best move is having the prescription written without naming either brand, just the drug class itself, with 'generic OK' noted alongside it. That's what got done here.
