I kind of agree, but also, other countries have different healthcare and don't do nearly as much testing. Here, we have tons of trials, and other countries trust our meds because our testing is top-notch. Lots of money goes into these meds with all the trials. Plus, we have all these different insurance levels, which other countries don't. So, companies try to make up for lost money here, where all the trials and approvals happen. They also know how our insurance works, so they price gouge. Insurance can pay, not pay, or only partially pay for meds that really change lives. Other countries do healthcare their way, and we do it our way here. Is it fair? Probably not. I don't like how Big Pharma works. I don't want to get political or offend anyone. I don't know everything, but that's kind of how it looks to me. If anyone wants to add or correct anything, please do. I know I'm just scratching the surface and don't want to upset anyone. If I insulted anyone, sorry, didn't mean to. This is just my opinion. I'm not angry, but I hate price gouging. Sorry this was so long!
