Weird metallic taste on Reta?

Hopping on Reta after being on Wegovy when it launched, then Munjaro later. Since the first injection, I've got this metallic taste, kinda like when doing Keto. Also, super thirsty! Been stuck on Trizeptide for a couple of years now. Hoping Reta will shake things up!
 
Was this happening during any physical activity, HealthHustle? I know that intense exercise has the potential to irritate and even cause minor bleeding in the respiratory tract, resulting in a metallic taste. Otherwise, it may just be an atypical side effect. I wouldn't be overly concerned. I had a similar issue with B-complex shots but not with any GLP-1s.
 
Not during exercise, Salad_Dude; it definitely feels like keto. So much information and support here! This is my first dip into the grey market, but it wasn't too bad a process. On week two of Reta, and the side effects are similar to when I started MJ. Though, I'm sure my body is used to Tirz by now.
 
I've experienced a metallic taste, like licking pennies, but it was before GLP-1s, possibly linked to acid reflux. Did you have sulfur burps on MJ, HealthHustle? I didn't mind them much because I had those issues already. I also had a long plateau on tirz and switched to Reta. Depending on your dose, results might not show until you're at a higher level. I didn't see much happening below 6mg, but my body shape changed, which I expected from reading here. Move up slowly. 6mg works now; no need to increase. The appetite suppression feels different than tirz, still there, but different. I also have fewer side effects on Reta than on tirz. Everyone's different. Good luck with week two!
 
No sulfur burps, Leslie40, but my MJ results and side effects stabilized a while ago. I'm slowly raising my Reta doses, lowering the Tirz. Still just the metallic taste as a side effect. I'm excited to see what happens around 6-8mg.
 
Interesting about the taste changes, @Witty-Pizza. I've heard of some people experiencing allergic reactions, though it seems rare. I saw someone mention sermorelin causing some weird reactions, possibly from a concentrated dose if the vial wasn't mixed well before injecting.
 
I had a similar very awful experience after my most recent GLP injection. I've been on it for almost two years and recently switched to a new vial and felt horribly sick a few hours after injecting. Vomiting, headaches, and so on. Made me feel awful.
 
Maxie_62 It is likely from the change in concentration or a drop in tolerance due to time in between injections. If you take breaks, you need to start at a lower dose. The semaglutide can build up and cause bad side effects.
