Went from chonk to... not as chonk!

Okay, so back when I was carrying around 275 lbs I was in bad shape. My blood pressure was sky high, I had sleep apnea, and I couldn't quit smoking. Knowing strokes run in my family, I figured I needed a change ASAP.

I started using Wegovy for about a year, then I switched over to Zepbound around late 2024. I've successfully quit smoking and got my sleep apnea treated. The pic with the yellow shorts was taken around March 2025, and I was hovering around 185 lbs. The recent pictures are from today after I started incorporating creatine and more intense weightlifting workouts to change my body composition. I'm starting a volleyball league soon, so I've been doing full-body workouts every single day for the past week. I'm really liking these results more than the old "bro split" routine, so I'll probably keep it up. I used to be athletic in high school, and besides some minor knee pain, I'm feeling like my old self again.

My goal is to get down to at least 15% body fat so my abs are visible.

Great job! How tall are you? I used to be built kinda like you, but I had weight loss surgery a few years back and ended up with similar stats. Wish these GLP-1 meds were more common back then, I would've chosen that route! And yeah, lifting weights is a must, so many people forget that.

Congrats on all the work you've put in! Quitting smoking is a huge accomplishment on top of the weight loss. You should be super proud of what you've achieved.

What an amazing transformation, both inside and out! All your hard work and determination have really paid off! Enjoy your new lease on life!😇

Incredible! You're putting in the effort, and it's not just about losing weight. Quitting smoking/vaping adds years to your life. You look fit, healthy, and athletic!

Congratulations! This will change your life in so many positive ways, not just related to your health. Maybe even spiritually, you'll feel like a "new man". God bless you for achieving this incredible accomplishment! Reddit Pastor

Seeing progress pics is so inspiring. I'm using a telehealth provider, and they have me take pics about once a month. I didn't realize how much I was changing until I saw them side by side.
