What differences have you observed with increased doses?

Hi! Started ozempic two weeks back at the lowest dose. Going well overall so far. Some nausea, but manageable. Food noise has quieted some, though it's still there most days. Curious what to expect once moving up to the next dose level and eventually beyond that. What's everyone's experience been? What are the major shifts going from the starting dose upward each step?

Went through this too whenever the dose increased. Pretty sure that's exactly why it ramps up gradually for most people. You'll adjust and figure out how to manage it. Barely eat much the day following my injection, and that's what keeps it manageable for me.

Me too! Right there with you, honestly. Two dose increases and somehow only trending upward on the scale. Ugh.

Not everyone's experience matches mine here. Genuinely couldn't handle jumping straight from 0.5 to 1.0. Spent extra weeks at the lower dose, then eased through an intermediate step before going higher. Same pattern repeated moving from 1.0 up to 1.5.

My doctor told me to hold off raising the dose until side effects cleared, but honestly I only had mild nausea at 0.25 and none at all on 0.5, so I wasn't ready for how rough 1.0 hit. Hoping to try 0.75 eventually even though that particular pen setting isn't a preset option on the auto-injector. Seems like it'd be the smarter middle ground.

Staying as hydrated as I possibly can. Can't really exercise much right now given nonstop room-spinning and near-fainting spells my doctor thinks might be POTS, though I'm still pushing myself to walk a handful of minutes each day. Push too hard and I nearly black out, so I have to pace myself carefully. The dizziness actually kicked in shortly after starting Ozempic, though my doctor doesn't think they're connected since my blood pressure and glucose both read completely normal.
