What does your daily diet look like on Mounjaro?

Question for everyone: does your daily eating look anything like mine? Started mounjaro weighing 111kg, and in under two weeks that's already down to 105kg. Walking's the only real activity, no actual workouts fit into the schedule, though the daily walking distance is genuinely significant out of pure necessity. Mainly just curious whether everyone else's meals look similar, as a way to sanity check things:

Breakfast is plain yogurt with about a dozen strawberries or raspberries daily. Midday meal is a salad built from a handful of walnuts and almonds, some tuna, a mix of red lettuce with endive and arugula, plus shredded mozzarella, a pinch of iodized salt, and olive oil. Evening rotates through a plain omelet, or grilled chicken seasoned with iodized salt, some garlic powder, and a bit of parsley, or grilled turkey seasoned identically.

Coffee happens once or twice daily too, sometimes a ginger tea after lunch.

Dealt with the exact same thing starting out, morning sickness is genuinely the worst part. What helped me was eating something bland the second I woke up, like crackers before even getting up. Ginger tea also does wonders, just simmer fresh slices in water roughly ten minutes and sip it gradually through the morning.

Also noticed eating too quickly or drinking water right after a meal makes things worse, so now I hold off around 30 minutes before having anything to drink. Frequent tiny meals every couple hours instead of full meals let me hit my calorie needs without feeling ill.

My doctor mentioned the queasiness typically improves after a few weeks as your body gets used to it, so stick with it.

Coffee is unchanged for me since the T2DM diagnosis and Mounjaro. I drink a pot or more through the day, right until I go to bed, and I sleep like a log. Mounjaro has really quieted my food noise and meals end sooner for me. Weight keeps dropping steadily.

I aim to keep eating as before wherever possible, but on Mounjaro my appetite drops a lot and my portions shrink to roughly 50 percent. To get enough nutrients i lean on extra protein, veg and whole grain bread. Vitamins go in daily, plus some juice. Health matters to me as much as losing weight.

(57F) My Mounjaro start was 5/2025, and daily walks began that same day. By 1/2026 i craved a bigger fitness challenge so i joined a gym. Gym sessions happen two to four times weekly, heavy lifting and progressive overload. A dietitian set my macros for building muscle while shedding fat gradually, and i follow a high protein diet. It works: more muscle definition, less fat bit by bit. I eat breakfast about an hour before the gym for energy. Afterwards, within the hour, i have a snack or meal heavy in protein and carbs. Feels great! I hope your journey goes well.
