When did the scale finally budge??

Hey everyone! I just started on 0.25mg last week. It's been about 6 days and no weight loss yet (I know, I know, super early!). I'm curious when you all started seeing results? I'm at the gym regularly, so I'm a little worried that drastically cutting my calories to 1100-1300 could make my body want to hold onto every ounce instead of losing weight. Anyone else active out there? Share your journeys? Thanks!

I think the amount you want to lose plays a big role. I'm aiming for about 45 pounds, and I've been steadily losing about a pound each week since January. I didn't have much inflammation to begin with, though.

I've kept off 144lbs. I hit the gym 14 times a week. Did 460 miles last year. Eating under 1000 cals didn’t make my body hoard fat or water. Less eating and more working out is how you drop weight. I lost weight the first week but I was pretty heavy and my workout intensity was high.

For me, it was 24 hours. I dropped over 4 pounds of water weight right away. After that, it was a consistent pound a week.

0. 25 is just an introductory dose, so your body is still getting used to it. Give it time :) Also, 1100-1300 calories is pretty low if you're hitting the gym hard. Prioritize protein in your diet, even if you don't feel hungry, your muscles still need fuel.

I'm one week in, tracking everything in my calorie app, and staying about 500 calories below my maintenance. I'm not working out as much because I'm observing Ramadan, but I was pleasantly surprised to see I dropped 1.5lbs. Could just be normal fluctuation, but I'll take it! Everyone's body is different. Eat in a way you can maintain long-term and aim for slow weight loss. It will come off with patience and consistency.

I seem to be responding well. I was on .25 for three months and dropped about 30lbs. Been on .5 for around four months and have dropped around 20lbs more. I also count my calories and have been averaging 1-2lbs shed per week. I also had a lot of inflammation and lipedema as well.

Today is the start of week 2 for me! Went from 329 to 321. Half of that was probably water weight, but I instantly noticed I wasn't hungry anymore. The first few days, it was tough to even get myself to 1000 cals, but by Friday, my appetite came back at a reasonable level.

I just injected my third does. I dropped a pound then gained a pound back. I've been going to the gym a lot (worry about losing muscle). My appetite has decreased, but I often eat out of habit and boredom still. Haven't had any nausea. I'm really looking forward to raising the dosage in a couple weeks-- but maybe I shouldn't be?

I lost weight within the first week. Starting week 3 and I've learned having a calorie deficit along with working out is important. Cutting out junk food helps!

I'm so encouraged seeing posts about everyone's results. It's nice to know I'm not alone in this. I just want to lose around 30-35 pounds and be back in my old jeans. Wish me luck!

Hey Georgie1993, I know it's hard to be patient. But remember, these meds take time to build up in your system. Don't get discouraged if you don't see immediate results. Also, make sure you're staying hydrated and getting enough electrolytes. That can really help with the water weight issue that Terry_40 mentioned.

It's all about progress, not perfection, y'all! Celebrate those small victories. I had to throw out some really nice shoes because they were too big!
