When did the scale finally budge??

Hong Kong Yanpep International
That wasn't a plateau, that was just eating too much.

Everyone loses weight in a calorie deficit, if it's not happening, the deficit isn't real.

Sounds like actual tracking wasn't happening, just a guess at what felt like a deficit.

Simple fix: grab an app like LoseIt, set it to drop a kilo weekly, and log food accurately, actually measuring things. If the scale still won't move doing that, the app's being fed bad information.

Saying this regardless of downvotes, because doing this properly adds real years to life and life to those years.

Wow, that calculator lines up almost perfectly with the actual rmr test result. Could've saved a chunk of cash skipping that test lol. Still baffled why the scale won't budge though, especially since intake stays under that number even without any exercise. Might try trimming another 100 calories and see if that shifts anything.

Four weeks into a quarter milligram now, lifting three times weekly and keeping protein around half my intake, sometimes more. Only down a small amount so far, but my husband's noticed less bloating and some visible inch loss. Face has slimmed too, jawline's starting to show through.

I do track measurements but haven't seen much shift lately. Suspect my body's settling into this new weight as normal, since I'm noticeably hungrier while the number stays put regardless. Hoping the jump to 10mg gets the downward movement going again.

Are you at the higher dose yet? Sometimes it just takes other people longer! Saw zero movement on the scale despite being on the lowest amount for over three months and cutting food intake significantly. Only once I bumped up did the weight actually start coming off, and even then it was probably because there were so many days I barely ate anything from having zero appetite and feeling jittery and nauseous. Honestly, during a rough patch spanning a few months my daily intake was often minimal at best, and even so the total shed by the end was fairly moderate. Calling it moderate feels almost silly given how much that actually is, but plenty of people manage bigger monthly drops eating like normal, whereas my body barely let go of anything despite basically running on empty the whole time. Not something I'd recommend to anyone, noticeable hair thinning showed up from how little nutrition was going in, it was just a genuinely hard stretch and appetite had checked out completely so eating stopped being a priority. Point is, weight loss just comes harder for some bodies than others.

Started in early May. Began at a higher weight and now sitting notably lower. Genuinely expected a much faster monthly pace, which set up some disappointment early on. Currently on a small weekly amount and the side effects have been genuinely brutal! Hoping this all pays off eventually, but struggling this much without seeing bigger drops on the scale really stings!
