When did you REALLY feel the effects?

I'm on week 2 of a 4mg dose. I'm noticing my hunger has decreased during the day--just eating lunch and dinner, and not huge portions. But I'm still feeling hunger.

How long did it take for the medication to really kick in for you? And did you stop feeling hungry, or is there still some hunger?

I felt pretty good at about three weeks on Zepbound. Appetite was suppressed pretty well. I started on 2.5mg. Everyone's different, so just hang in there.

Almost right away for me. The hunger went away and I stopped thinking about food so much within a day of my first injection. I began with 2.5mg of Tirzepatide. I lost about 2 pounds the first week. I was aiming to eat 500 less calories than my TDEE each day.

I'm taking 7.5mg of Tirzepatide now, and have been for about two months. I don't think about food nearly as much now, probably 90% less. I kinda stalled out the first month at this dose, but started going to the gym this month, and working out seems to be helping. I've lost around 40 pounds in 5 months total.

The first week for me. But, we also started a low-carb eating plan at the same time. I don't want to call it a "diet" though. I began with 2mg of Reta about 10 weeks ago and have slowly increased to 5mg. I took the first 5mg this morning. At first I couldn't eat hardly anything, but I'm eating a little more now, but just very small meals, and usually just a protein shake at lunch. We really haven't had much food noise (wife and I).

What kind of hunger are you referring to? Did you have a lot of food noise before?

I began with a very small dose because I was worried about side effects, so my experience might not be that useful. I noticed some subtle changes early on, but it could have been in my head. The appetite suppression really became noticeable around weeks 4-6. I started losing weight the first week, though.

I don't feel very hungry, almost zero food noise, and I get full a lot faster. I'm okay with feeling a little hungry still so I remember to eat, because I'd forget to eat all day if I wasn't careful.

I feel reta pretty much immediately and it works great. I started pretty high at 2mg (on my 2nd week, at 3mg now) because I have taken similar meds before. Sometimes I feel like eating, but it's probably just a habit. It makes me feel weird when I realize I'm not actually hungry.

I saw a thread where a person lost almost 20 pounds in the first month on Mounjaro. That seems fast, but everyone is different. Even if it slows down, keep it up!

I agree with @DenverDan72 that everyone is different. I'm trying to be patient and not get discouraged if my weight loss slows down. I'm just happy that my appetite is under control.

It's different for everyone. I've seen some people not respond much to 2.5mg. It's not always a therapeutic dose, and it takes a little time to build up in your system. Stick with it!

I saw someone talking about how much better their clothes fit after losing weight on one of these meds! That's a great goal to have!

Just started yesterday - so I'm about 30 hours in. 41F 5'8 started at 255. Got multivitamins, pre and probiotics, fiber gummies. Trying smaller portions and more protein. Not feeling much different yet honestly. The water thing though - always struggled with that. Set reminders but ignore them. How do people actually get 2 liters down daily?

the 2mg stopped doing its job for cravings and i packed back ten. still managing blood sugar so not stopping it yet. frustrating but still useful.

They ship to Poland but the shop's closed til end of May. For peptides you'll use within 21 days, regular saline is fine. There's also good BAC from Slavic Lab.

Started getting super dry on MJ so I've been rotating through different beverages - water, electrolytes, coconut water, buttermilk, protein shakes. Mixing them up throughout the day really helps with the hunger pangs and manages the constipation and tiredness too.

I've seen posts saying it cranks up heart rate pretty hard and gets uncomfortable. Wondering what everyone else has actually felt on their end.
