Why isn't Lilly hyping Reta?

I think there's really no need to. The Phase III results will speak for themselves when they come out next spring.

It's safer for them to be conservative with their statements until after FDA approval. Any overly positive claims now could temporarily inflate the stock price, only to cause a drop if the drug doesn't quite live up to the initial hype.

Social media buzz revealing the grey market attracts too much attention. We benefit from staying somewhat under the radar. These communities need a delicate balance: assisting those who need it without becoming a target for big money.

They heavily promote the oral version in company filings. They mention tons of other drugs in their pipeline, but not retatrutide. I've been an investor for a while and I'm just puzzled why they aren't talking about it more.

It's because they want people to start on tirzepatide now instead of waiting for reta, obviously.
