About half a year ago I started taking Mounjaro. My highest weight was around 340lbs, and when I started the medication, I was at 330lbs. This morning I weighed in at 273lbs! I had a photo taken at my drama rehearsal, and I was shocked at how "average" I looked. I'm still a big person, but it feels really good not to feel so much larger than everyone else. I'm excited to keep working hard and losing weight! I feel more confident and active. I can do long rehearsals without being out of breath. Thanks for reading about my journey!

Seriously, you look like a before/after ad! Amazing progress, and your skin looks great too. Keep up the awesome work!

It's weird to be "big" for so long and then see yourself shrinking. Intellectually I know it takes time, but it feels like a fast change. You've clearly put in work, congrats!

It's amazing how weight loss can make you look younger. Keep losing, and people will think your parents don't know you're on this forum!

Congrats and keep it up!

Thanks everyone for the kind words! To answer a few questions:

not-today-scale, I was wearing a loose fitting tunic top with leggings. It was a really comfortable but unflattering outfit, LOL.

half-of-me, I try to eat a balanced diet with lots of protein and vegetables. I'm also focusing on portion control and trying to avoid processed foods as much as possible.

I agree about seeing the progress! I had a funeral to go to and realized I could fit into a pair of medium-sized pants from a few years back!! Big win!

One year ago I had a ton of health issues. I didn't realize how overweight I was until I saw a picture. Pictures don't lie.. Selfies are easy to fake though!
