Started at 187, now at 156, and I'm 5'8". This medication has done wonders for my self-esteem. I'm actually happy with my body now, and people compliment my figure when I'm out. It's motivating, especially since I've been strength training. The muscle definition is finally showing!

That's amazing! Your story is inspiring. I've been lifting since 2016, but I have a stubborn layer of fat covering my muscles. I've tried cutting before, but I always regain the weight. And, I get super hungry because I am always doing something. I'm 5'4", started at 140, and want to get to 125. I just started semaglutide this week. It's so great to finally cut without excessive hunger!

Can you share more about your process? What's your current dose? Do you have a maintenance plan? Are you tracking calories? Do you feel like you've lost any muscle? How are your lifts?
 
You look fantastic in both pictures! You are definitely blessed. I'm 5'7", and around 185, even with lifting a few times a week, my stomach looks awful. Good for you!
 
So happy for you! You look fantastic. I'm in a similar situation where I do Pilates a few times a week and built muscle, but couldn't get the lean look. Started around 145lbs and I'm at 129lbs this morning. The muscle is finally showing!
 
You looked amazing at 187! That's my goal weight! lol I'm 5'5", started 3/27 at 220.6, and I'm now at 213.4lbs. I'm 55 years old and about 5 weeks in on the meds. I have muscle under this fat, too! Weight training for a couple of years while trying to lose. I'm starting to see the muscle. My body is more athletic now. I can't wait to get down to the 180s. Plan to stay on this until I get past my goal of 170lbs. Aiming for a final goal of 155lbs, which I haven't seen since my early 20s. Thanks for sharing!
 
Hey PickyEaterPro, to answer your questions: I'm currently at 1mg. I'm thinking about maintenance, but not there yet. I'm loosely tracking calories just to make sure I'm getting enough protein. And no, I don't think I've lost any muscle. My lifts are actually going up!
