Xmas munchies & MJ balance

This year, I'm celebrating a loss of nearly 90 pounds total since starting MJ, with 45 of those pounds shed just this year. I'm definitely planning on enjoying some holiday goodies like brie, cookies, and a festive cocktail, same as everyone else.

It's super important to be kind to yourself. This is a long-term journey, not a race, and indulging in a treat or two with friends won't undo all your progress. If anything, MJ has helped me understand balance better than any restrictive diet I've ever tried.

Happy holidays, everyone! 🌲🤶🏼

Big congrats! You're beaming, and you look fantastic. Enjoy the Christmas season and all the delicious food it brings, keep up the great work.

Look at you go! Absolutely gorgeous! Yes, enjoy those holiday treats – you deserve it!

I'm not worried about dieting on Christmas. I will be me, lol! (Thankfully, MJ will help me from overdoing it)

I started my Christmas feasting early and had some jerk chicken, greens, and rice and peas yesterday and guess what, I lost half a pound today! I'm planning on enjoying the next couple of days without stressing about any weight gain because I know it'll come off eventually.

For anyone struggling to get enough protein while appetite is suppressed, I found this article interesting: Whey protein, but not collagen peptides, stimulates acute and longer-term muscle protein synthesis. This might be useful if you're trying to maintain muscle mass.

I'm finding that I don't feel hungry anymore, and it's hard to motivate myself to cook. I end up skipping meals or eating junk. Any ideas for really easy dinners?

For easy meals, I'm a big fan of protein shakes. Quick, easy, and helps me hit my macros when I don't feel like eating much. Also,

I like making a big batch of chili on the weekend. It's great for leftovers and super easy to heat up.
is a great idea!
