Zepbound gone warm - use 'em?

I've got a handful of 10mg ZEPBOUND injectors that were sitting in a fridge that broke down. They might have been at room temp for a month or more before I realized it. Now they're back in a working fridge, and they look OK – no cloudiness or anything obvious. Would it be dumb to inject one when my next dose is due in a few days? Am I being too frugal and reckless even to consider it? Any guidance would be great. Thanks!

They're probably fine, unless they were already opened or unsealed, which could bring up sterility. I bought some liraglutide from an overseas source that got shipped through some hot weather, and they worked just fine. The instructions even said to refrigerate *after* opening, but I put them in the fridge right away anyway.

If they're completely unused, they're almost certainly fine. I'd say 99.99% confidence (taking off 0.01% because nothing is ever 100% certain). If they were partially used, they're likely still OK. My confidence level in that case would be about 85%.

I think they're safe, especially if they have preservatives! I'd use them. The potency is probably ok, too. Just put them back in the refrigerator! If you're still worried, inject a very small dose and increase if there are no reactions. Use an app or calculator (like Shotsy) to calculate blood levels.

Unless you take the pens apart, there's no way to test a small volume. It's all or nothing with the autoinjector. I don't put any stock in what Eli Lilly says about Zepbound's stability. They want you to toss anything outside their strict guidelines. I think tirzepatide is more stable than they want us to believe. And I'm a pretty cautious person.

I think the label says the brand name can be at room temp for like, 3 weeks, if unused. Warm, though, I don't know. Probably won't hurt you, though. Might be a little weaker.

US pens are single dose with no preservatives, my bad! But could you inject it into a vial? Unless the needle is ready to go...wait can you slip a sterile 23 gauge needle (on a 3cc luer lock syringe) over the Zep needle and suck the juice out? I think I saw that somewhere. Then freeze it or add BAC to make a 1mg/ml solution!

I wouldn't use them. The biggest risk isn't sterility, it's the peptide degrading from the heat. Being unrefrigerated for over a month is too long. Peptides in solution tend to break down over time.

Hey, has anyone else noticed they're saving a TON of money on food since starting these meds? I went back and checked my bank statements from last year and wow! I was spending almost a grand a month on groceries and restaurants before. Now it's like half that!

OMG yes! My restaurant and takeout bills were insane. Now I barely order delivery at all.

On the topic of cost savings, I'm in Canada and my pharmacist told me to expect a price drop on Ozempic this year due to generics becoming available. Has anyone heard anything about that?

Yes, the patent expired in January but it takes time for generics to get approved and manufactured. I read it could be late spring or summer before we see cheaper options.

went individual for KPV and GHK-cu because i wanted to dial in dose and timing myself, not have them lumped together. especially since i'm not totally sold on some of the compounds yet. happy with my lineup of tirz, KPV, GHK, and TA1 right now.

In the screening process for a trial stacking one med with either this one or the other one. If you qualify, six months free of whichever you're already on plus either the stacking med or placebo.

pcos here, usually no periods without medication. mounjaro 2.5 — suddenly every 10 days, went through 4 cycles then settled. periods got longer too, 5 days became 7-8. no special info but my doc said iron supplements and hemoglobin check might help.
