8 pounds in 5 weeks is seriously impressive, congrats on that. I'd say weigh yourself once a week so you don't obsess over every little fluctuation and drive yourself nuts with it.
No way could I handle 12mg. Still on my current dose after 4 months and basically don't think about food anymore. Random nausea waves still show up sometimes though.
I've looked hard and haven't found real research showing injections at injury sites work better than other spots. Maybe some rodent wound-healing studies exist, but large-scale trials? Nope. PRP injections have way more evidence backing them up. Downside is cost and, yeah, it hurts like hell.
