OUCH! Injecting near bellybutton - anyone else?

I've been doing tirz for ages now with no issues. But I've also been experimenting with a couple of other peptides the last couple weeks, every other day. Today, I shot up Myo-C close to my left side, maybe 3-4 inches away from my belly button. Not long after, I injected KLOW on the other side. Felt a little sting after the Myo-C, rubbed it, and thought nothing of it. But a couple of hours later, both spots started hurting, a deep ache, not just on the skin. Anyone else get this? Any tips to make it feel better or how long it might last? Thanks!

I got some Lipo-mino hanging around from an online pharmacy that I inject a few times each week. It really stings! And I've heard KLOW does too. I try to inject the Lipo around my hip, more towards the back. I also angle it a little, like sideways instead of straight down because it's a full 1ml. Seems to help a little bit.

I used Lipo on a 5/2 schedule and tried both stomach and thighs. Both were rough. I switched to my bum and that fixed the injection site reaction (ISR) for me. Just a little bump that vanished in about an hour and no more pain. Subcutaneous, used a 31g, 8mm needle at a 45 degree angle. That was my experience.

Way back when, my diet doctor gave me B12 shots in my glutes. I just ordered Lip-C and planned on using that area. Researching the best way to inject it while I wait for it to arrive.

I did my first NAD+ in my upper thigh and my first GLOW yesterday in my lower stomach and man, oh man, they were both super spicy! Had a big welt at the NAD+ spot that disappeared about the same time as one at the Glow spot showed up. The Glow spot still stings and has a small bump. I did Glow today on my upper butt with extra BAC water. Still a little sting but MUCH better. Bodies are weird.

Are you injecting subcutaneously or intramuscularly? Intramuscular injections can be more painful because they go deeper into the muscle tissue. I’m a nurse with 10 years of experience giving injections and IV therapy.

I started getting red bumps and itching after months of no problems. Read that taking Zyrtec the day before, day of, and day after injecting can help. Might be worth a shot!

So, I just gave myself a shot and now there's a little bit of liquid left in the pen. Is that normal?? I don't wanna waste it, this stuff is too expensive! Can I, like, pull it out with a different syringe or something?

I've heard of people using an insulin syringe to get the last few clicks out. I've never tried it, seems like a pain. But yeah, there's usually a tiny bit left over. I guess it's up to you if it's worth the effort!

Thanks for all the tips! I am gonna try the upper thigh next time, and maybe have some anti-itch stuff on hand just in case. And good to know about the little bit left in the pen... I'll try to get it out next time since it sounds like it's normal.

I've looked hard and haven't found real research showing injections at injury sites work better than other spots. Maybe some rodent wound-healing studies exist, but large-scale trials? Nope. PRP injections have way more evidence backing them up. Downside is cost and, yeah, it hurts like hell.
