Booze and these meds don't mix well for me either. Switched to mocktails and that's been way better. Soda's off limits now too. Your bartender trick with the ice is solid.
My Dexa lines up nicely with my 4-electrode Tanita. The InBody at my doctor's office matched recent Dexa results nearly perfect across 3 separate sessions. Got an 8-electrode Runstar that seems legit but reads about 4% high compared to everything else - still handy for monitoring shifts. Timing...
I meal prep the same thing for weeks too honestly. Rice, protein, veggies, air fryer - keeps it simple and the numbers stay solid. Ratio yogurt is legit.
Two months for that much loss is really quick. Make sure you're keeping tabs on your labs, vitamins, and getting enough protein. Seriously solid progress though.
Dropped around 140 pounds total. Been on it over five years for diabetes. The loss has slowed down and I do get hungry now but way less than off meds. My A one C looks fantastic. Stopped for two months switching insurance, gained back 30, but it fell right off again after restarting at 2 mg...
Having trouble with vial pressure on draws. Injecting 2-3x the air volume of my dose but pressure stays insanely high. Medication spurts from both the stopper and needle when I pull out. Tips?
This is wild, so stoked! Started just under two weeks ago and doing great too. Excited to finally see myself in the mirror and feel good instead of looking away.
Should mention the person's also on Tirzepatide, 7.5mg a week. The appetite control and better insulin response are coming from the GLP side of things, not anything else.
Did SS-31 and MotS six months back, both helped with energy. Currently on 5amino, NAD, MotS 3-4 days weekly. Feel capable of getting through my day instead of needing constant naps. Recently hit menopause with tanked energy but these help loads. Had best sleep on Epitalon.
It really seems like switching back would be the move. Thanks for weighing in. You're not the first person telling me they experienced similar side effects from this.
