Yeah, I get it. The lower cost of the oral version could open it up to more people too. I saw it might be around $150, which is way better than the injectables.

When you try a 31G needle and realize it doesn't hurt, you'll never go back to oral. The injections are easier on your body and the results are better.

Why would anyone use oral sema when the injectable version exists?

I've been in med trials before. People don't always follow instructions. That's probably why the trial results aren't amazing.

I'm curious about these new oral GLP-1 meds. I saw something about a Rybelsus being approved recently. Supposedly, it has special tech to help with absorption and comes with specific dosing instructions.

How long did it take, and what dosage are you using? My doctor wants to see lifestyle changes and slow progress before he can appeal to insurance.
