Been considering switching from trizepatide myself. I'm at 8mg now and curious how that transition went for others. What's your take on the shift - any side effects when you bumped doses?
I've been going 5.5 weeks at 1mg/week split the first 4.5, then moved to 1.4mg on Tuesday. Heart rate barely budged. Lifting 4 days a week plus long distance hikes, my RHR stayed around 48-52 before and crept to 54-55 after starting, max HR in workouts went from 165 up to 170.
I'd been on 10 mg for a couple months and had just one 5 mg pen left. Didn't want to spend the money on another. Took two shots at 5 mg, then got food poisoning and felt rough for a month straight. Went back to 5 mg with two shots. Now I'm wondering if I could grab a 10 mg and dial it down to...
I've gone with syringes because those pens look pricey and seem like hassle to set up, even if they shave off a couple minutes per shot. If you add up the whole week - mixing, injecting - you're probably spending the same time either way. Curious if serious pen fans would argue that though.
Started Ozempic six months back fine at first. Lately sexual function tanked ED pretty bad. No real libido even on testosterone. Feel kinda like autopilot. No interest in gym or music my favorite things. Thinking about tapering down.
Made it to goal weight today, so pumped! Started Mounjaro in September at 2 point 5 mg weighing 172 and now March at 130 on 10 mg. Start my second 10 mg dose next Monday.
Doing 2mg fasted at night, 5 on 2 off schedule. IPA 250mcg morning and night same pattern. About to finish week 8 before I pause to check my baseline numbers.
Hexagonal relates to how users of semaglutide and tirzepatide also experience lean tissue loss. Major pharmaceutical companies are studying ways to prevent that loss in future generations. At your age (25), the secretagogue drugs might do nothing besides help you sleep since your growth hormone...
Yeah some folks just bump dosing instead of eating less lol. I disagree though. My weight's held steady for five or so years-I can keep it but struggle to restrict myself enough to see real loss. Doubt I'd gain tons without doing anything, plus there's always another round. Come on.
