Six Month Reta Check-in

InsulinResistant

Started compounded tirzepatide around mid-August last year. Stumbled upon this forum quickly and switched to Reta a couple months later. I've lost about 58 lbs since then, going from 257 to 199. I shed most of the weight in the first 3-4 months and have been focusing on maintaining and gaining muscle for the past couple of months. I'm 40 years old and 6'2". I've experimented with many different peptides and have found that testosterone, Reta, and occasional HGH seem to work best for me. Aiming to lose another 5-10 lbs of fat and then concentrate on building more muscle.

Great job! I've been thinking about trying HGH, but I'm still unsure. I'm currently using CJC/IPA, but I might revisit HGH in a few months. I see you have a CGM – was that for pre-existing diabetes or just to monitor levels with HGH?

I got the CGM when I first started using Tesa/Ipa/CJC and just kept using it. I don't notice any insulin resistance from the HGH or secretagogues; I just enjoy having more data to analyze, lol.

Doing 2mg fasted at night, 5 on 2 off schedule. IPA 250mcg morning and night same pattern. About to finish week 8 before I pause to check my baseline numbers.

Six months and 58 lbs is the upper range of early response - 257 to 199 also clears the 200 threshold, which shifts trajectory.

257 to 199 in six months is a strong reta response with the tirz transition already in. The 6-month supply approach reduces ordering friction when the protocol is working.
