This thing is changing everything!

Nice work documenting. That info helps guide decisions. My DEXA scan is coming up in a few weeks and I'll share my complete record with all the tracked stuff and the fluctuations.

Right, any ghrelin-triggering compound absolutely hammers hunger. I used it right before sleeping and would get ravenous before dozing off. Haven't experimented with MK personally, but stuff I've read and listened to indicates it amps up appetite, so staying disciplined about portions is key.

you need more protein and calories, it'll come back but takes time. hair and nails are last in line for protein when you're losing, so get more. have you noticed you're not cutting your nails as much?

days 2-3-4 i don't care about food, then 5-6-7 it starts looking good again. you're still early, doubling is probably a mistake. try 1.6mg every 5 days or split 1.1mg every 3.5 days instead.

The quiet around food is real. That constant chatter in my head for decades is gone. Honestly might stay on this the rest of my life just for that.

The complete whole foods shift with zero processed foods and zero sugar is the protocol that builds the most durable result alongside the medication - the appetite suppression makes it achievable where it wasn't before, and the habit replaces what the medication is suppressing. Organic and grass-fed on that food list is optional for the outcome, but the structural choices are the right ones.

the food noise coming back completely after 5 months off is the data point that clarifies the medication's role in the first place - the return of the baseline state confirms that the quieter version was a medication effect rather than a permanent change in how the hunger system works. it is useful information for deciding about long-term use, and for most people it resolves the question of whether maintenance or indefinite use makes sense

Genuinely love food, cooking it, eating it, even grocery shopping for it. What's changed though is that overstuffing myself doesn't appeal anymore. Still enjoy a solid steak with grilled vegetables, just smaller portions than my old normal, and I no longer feel compelled to clean out random fridge leftovers purely because my stomach used to demand it.

That said, things have leveled off a bit at .5 and my weight loss has slowed down some. Hoping the coming bump to 1mg lands as easily as those earlier two increases and gets the number moving downward again. Never really fit the 'typical case' mold for anything in my life before, and honestly kind of enjoy that.
