GLP-1 Plateau - what happens when we stop?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Different people respond differently depending on the formulation, and there's a growing list of options on the market with more coming. Ozempic brought a genuinely tough six months, but it did the job, diabetes got under control and a lot of weight came off. Talked it over with the doctor and switched to Mounjaro because of how rough those side effects had been. This one's been nearly side-effect free personally. Everyone's response really does seem to be its own thing.

Staying on top of regular checkups with a physician matters a lot here, and self-adjusting dosage without guidance isn't a good idea.

Really appreciate the solid advice instead of the usual trolling in these threads. Anyway, the struggle comes down to fatty liver disease. Wanted to switch to Ozempic because of side effects from Mounjaro even after two years on it. The GLP side is doing its job, it's just the GIP hormone that isn't pulling weight loss along. I'm 50 and had cancer back in 2025, so HRT is off the table given it was uterine cancer. My doctor's ruled out hormones entirely. Also discussed with my doctor how switching medications sometimes restarts weight loss, though my liver condition responds well to either Ozempic or Mounjaro regardless. Everyone's situation is different, I know.
