From what I've been reading, the oral semaglutide might be way more affordable than the injectables. Word is, it could be around $150, making it much more accessible. Some folks are hesitant about injections, so the pill might be a good option for them.

True. I've also heard patient education is critical for the oral version. You have to take it just right for it to work properly.

I started Rybelsus a while back 'cause I'm super afraid of needles. For the first couple months, I didn't really notice much difference in my appetite, but I was so tired and nauseous. I almost gave up, but I stuck with it until I got to the full dose. Then, around the holidays, it just hit me. The food noise just went away!

OP, this really is solid advice. What's the hurry here? Even factoring in some shipping cost on that first order, it still comes in well under anything available through brand-name or compounded channels.

Worth remembering too that a meaningful chunk of people either can't tolerate this drug class or don't respond at low amounts. So even with a low-and-slow plan, you might end up needing to increase faster than expected just to see benefits, or discover you simply can't tolerate it at all. Too many unknowns going in. Grab a single starter kit, test it on yourself and family first, before committing to a bigger order. Agree with everyone else that the mid-size vial option makes more sense.
