Anyone tried fasting on GLP1s?

Used to fast years back and really liked the mental clarity that came with it. Haven't tried in a long while but thinking about giving it another shot this weekend. Anyone here fasting while on this medication class? Given how much digestion already slows down, seems like it'd take extra care not to overdo it breaking the fast.

Genuinely enjoy fasted states but haven't fully worked out the claims around slowed digestion and growth hormone. Curious how this plays out for others too.

If hunger isn't present, might as well just treat it as fasting. Just stay on top of fluids and electrolytes throughout. Going extended periods without food is manageable as long as hydration stays solid. Genuinely comes with real upsides too.

Running fairly high doses of this medication class, and even three hours post-meal there's still that lingering full stomach feeling, or so it seems. Trying to avoid spiking insulin or dampening natural hormone release, so mornings work best for now.

Some people report sleep disruption, though it also tends to work more effectively when fasting. Insulin naturally suppresses hormone pulses, and this medication class extends that post-meal window considerably.

Been fasting for 15 years, never eating before noon and only one or two meals daily, and yeah, glp-style peptides make it easier, though for me I'm so adapted to fasting already that genuine hunger rarely shows up anymore.

Multi-day fasting genuinely helped while running reta. Dropped 60 lbs doing extended daily fasting windows over a good stretch of time. Threw in a handful of 72-hour stretches too, just to test my limits, ha. Unfortunately let it slide eventually, regained about half of it back, and restarting just never clicked the same way again. Must've thrown off my metabolism somehow. Fasting's honestly great though, and I'll never fully abandon it. Fasting also taught me to lean hard on protein plus fiber to hang onto muscle, and without that lesson my learning curve on reta would've been way steeper. This drug class is honestly a lot more forgiving than the discipline fasting demands.

Wrapped up a three day stretch of fasting just yesterday, my first attempt at that while on GLPs, though I used to fast fairly regularly a few years back.
Staying hydrated was tougher this round, but my head felt clear without hunger constantly pulling my focus like it used to. Got some real mental clarity out of it and dropped a couple pounds. Pretty much matched what fasting felt like pre-medication. Planning to keep doing this since fasting's genuinely helped me before during flare-ups with my autoimmune condition and allergies.

Only hiccup I'd chalk up to the glps was how rough the refeed felt. Ate a light, familiar meal afterward and then just sat there with an uncomfortably full, rumbly stomach for hours.

Thinking about giving fasting a try. Been on reta a while now, and I can still eat a fair amount. Used to fast maybe once or twice annually before starting reta, nothing extreme, just about a week of alternate-day eating where I skip food every other day. Not going to pretend it's not partly about the scale, I've put on roughly 10 pounds since January for a bunch of reasons and just want a reset. More worried honestly about blood sugar crashing because of the glp1. Hoping that won't be an issue.

Fasted a good bit before all this, always liked how clear-headed I felt during it. Haven't done one in ages though, might actually give it a shot this weekend. Curious if anyone else here fasts while on a glp1. Only thing that worries me is breaking a fast too quickly - digestion's already crawling on these meds, so overdoing that first meal back seems like a good way to feel awful.
