Reta: energy boost or all-day naps?

The energy shift is real but mood is where I noticed more. Started adding NA-Semax around week three - 250mcg twice a day, noticeable cognitive lift and mood bump each time, lasts a couple hours. Reta alone wasn't giving me as much of that.

    CagriSema flop?

Me too. I'm not ready to stack GLP/GIPs. Sema was good to me and then I maxed out. Wish I'd known about the higher dose trials back then. Now I'm stocked up on Tz for a while.

    CagriSema flop?

I still love sema so much. I'm in week 3 of sema 3mg + reta 10mg. It's amazing. All GLP drugs are about the same for appetite. Tirz and Reta give you more energy, but not by much. If Reta didn't exist, I'd be happy with just sema. Is sema obsolete? No, just less popular, which is good because...

    CagriSema flop?

Sema isn't obsolete! It's been improved on, but it's still effective. Lots of people still use it. It's one tool in the toolbox.

    CagriSema flop?

23% is still a good result! It's not about beating other meds, it's about helping patients.

    Ozempic & Neck Wrinkles?!

Ugh, same here, but with my forehead. Now that some weight is gone, I have these lines that were hidden before. Can't go back now, though!

    Bloodwork before Tirzepatide?

That's a great point about the lipid panel. I've also read that GLP-1s can sometimes lower blood pressure, which could be a good thing for some people!

    Bloodwork before Tirzepatide?

My doc ran a standard CBC plus thyroid function tests (TSH, Free T4, Free T3) before starting me on Tirzepatide. They also suggested checking Vit D and B12 since deficiencies are common and easily fixed. I also opted to get my hormone levels checked to have a baseline. I really think it's worth...

    Down 93kg... Now what?!

That last picture speaks volumes! Congrats! Keep listening to your gut like you did when you began; you'll do the same with keeping it off!

    Overfilled Vials - Big Deal?

My first vial from one source claimed 48mg, but tested closer to 57mg. That's a pretty big difference. I can understand +/- 10%, but that was excessive.

    Overfilled Vials - Big Deal?

Yeah, I'd definitely recalculate. Especially with some of these peptides, a little extra can make for a rough time. It's only a bonus if you know about it beforehand.

Tirz arrived! When do I pin?

I've been reading about peptides to add in with this... specifically, for boosting muscle and recovery. Anyone have experience with CJC-1295 with Ipamorelin? Heard good things. What's a good source? I keep seeing one lab mentioned, but want to get other opinions.

    Reta taste changes?

I've been experimenting a little bit with healthier alternatives. I saw some dude who lost a ton of weight posting about loaded nachos? I might try to make my own version. Quest chips, some lean turkey...sounds pretty good!

    Reta taste changes?

Same here. Used to drink regular soda and juice all day long, and gallons of milk. Now I pretty much only drink water, almond milk, and the occasional Red Bull. Total 180.

    Reta taste changes?

Been on Reta almost 5 weeks. It rocks, and I've noticed a weird (but welcome) change. Used to live for Burger King, now it makes me wanna hurl. Anything super greasy or processed just doesn't sit right. Anyone else experiencing this?

Switching from Sema to Reta - Experiences?

Just chiming in - if you're working out super hard and still not losing, maybe try easing up a bit? Intense workouts can cause inflammation that actually hinders weight loss for some people.Gentler stuff like walking, swimming, or yoga might be worth a shot.

Switching from Sema to Reta - Experiences?

My partner found that a mid-week dose of semaglutide helped until the retatrutide dose was high enough to work. Now they're doing 2mg twice a week and seeing pretty good results.

    Subcutaneous Glycine?

Thanks for the info Compound and Jim_Now. I had no idea it could be so dangerous. Always thought compounding pharmacies were super safe. Makes you wonder...

    Ozempic 2nd time's not a charm?

If your insurance covers it, consider trying Mounjaro. Some people find it more effective.
