    GLP-1 shots every 5 or 6 days?

I'm on 7.5mg once a week, but thinking about switching to 5mg every 5 days. That's technically a slightly lower dose overall. Not sure what will work best.

Paper towel effect a real thing!

I'm 5'8", started at 240, and now I'm 150 – and my belly *still* folds! (I blame having kids!)

    GLP-1 injection technique FAQ

Newbie question about the pen markings. If my pen only shows the full dose number but I'm supposed to be on half for titration, is marking it with a tiny line actually safe? I don't want to mess up and underdose or overdose.

    Ozempic update - feeling good!

Okay, I'm new to this whole semaglutide thing, but seeing your progress is really encouraging. I just took my very first shot this morning, hoping it can help with some inflammation I've been dealing with. Fingers crossed it helps with weight too!

    Crushed my goal weight! Woot!

Woohoo!! My peak weight (that I know of) was about 275 and now I'm around 185 (started sema at ~220). It's a huge difference going from the high 200s to the 100s! Super happy for you, and I'm looking forward to seeing the 170s myself. Always wanted to get below 180.

    Finally hit ONE-derland! Woot!

That's amazing progress! If you're not very large, that weight loss might be too fast. I dropped around 30 pounds the first month, but I was quite big and it was mostly excess fluid. Make sure you get enough protein and do strength training to maintain your muscle mass and prevent hair loss.

    Finally hit ONE-derland! Woot!

I was roughly half the weight I once was - over 300 lbs easy. Managed to lose it years ago with high protein, intermittent fasting, and weightlifting... bodybuilder style. Started GLP-1s for my diabetes, which worsened as I aged because my beta cells burned out. Never thought my diabetes would...
