    GLP-1 Two-Year Check-In: Progress!

Got Ozempic in Colombia—didn't work, only 6 pounds over 24 weeks. Tried compounded—that was amazing. Then Mounjaro from India—22 more pounds in 18 weeks. Now on Berberine and weight's dropping faster than I want.

    Almost there...stalled!

12 months in and I'm thinking about the exit. I read that people regain like 4x faster than regular dieting and two-thirds get most of it back in a year. That scared me. I've been doing okay on the meds—don't wanna white-knuckle my way back to square one. What actually helped people who didn't...

    GLP-1s and Chocolate?

On mounjaro since march, type 2 diabetic. Drop the dose before stopping completely. Sulfur burps respond to antacids or pepcid—ask your doc. Spicy greasy foods and sweets trigger it. Drink 2-3 liters water daily, probiotics for gut health.

Just started Wegovy - feeling queasy!

Seeing the actual numbers helped me realize how much progress I was actually making. Clothes fitting better and compliments were nice, but the data really drove it home. Even with the ups and downs week to week, the overall trend is what matters. Keep at it, you're doing great!

Cried in a store today... Happy tears!

my doc says the big jumps in their protocols were designed for 12-month trials to hit weight goals fast. but smaller increases over time? way less side effects AND still solid weight loss. less aggressive might be smarter.

    No appetite - force feed?

food noise is real. atomic habits—stack small changes over time while the med's working. brain chemistry + habit mechanics. none of us were born with this noise anyway.

Feeling like my clock turned back!

For those asking about biomarkers, keep an eye on your IGF-1 levels, especially if you're considering peptides. It's a key indicator. I've seen some interesting research suggesting certain peptides might not always show an increase in IGF-1 on blood tests, even if they're effective. Something to...

    Just started. Terrified!

I agree with MetforminMeh... it is a medicine, not a moral failing. We are lucky to have these medications available, and should use them if our doctors think it is appropriate. I am a nurse but not YOUR nurse, so please seek medical advice from your own physician.

Hi! You are definitely not the only one feeling this way. The first day IS scary. It's okay to feel like that, but please remember it's not instant results but it CAN be life-changing. All the best to you! I'm here to lend any support I can!

    Sharing my GLP-1 journey?

Just wanted to add something to my earlier comment: If you DO decide to tell them, be prepared for questions. Some people are genuinely curious, others might be judgy. Just stick to your guns and remember why you started this in the first place.
