    Reta: weights or HIIT?

I'm on Tirz and Reta in small doses for managing food cravings and for the anti inflammatory benefits. I'm also on ipamorelin. It was hard to leave the F45 community. But my body feels better now. I was running the classes early in the morning, and I'm glad I can focus on getting my kids ready...

    Zepbound stronger than Wegovy?

I imagine your knees and feet are feeling a lot better now, too!

    Reta: weights or HIIT?

I coached F45 for almost a decade. I used to love the workouts, and they were effective but I learned that the style of training isn't meant to be done forever, even the 'weights days'. I switched to old school heavy lifting (long rest), and my body feels better and is showing results. Lift...

    Slow progress is STILL progress!

I love hearing from others who are also taking it slow. I began in the middle of June 2024 and have managed to drop about 30lbs. I used to be disheartened by my progress, but I'm actually really thankful now. Hoping to lose another 10lbs or so, and I haven't even reached the highest dose yet.

    Zepbound stronger than Wegovy?

I tried WeGovy for about a year and a half, from late summer '23 to the end of '24. The insurance stopped covering the 1mg dose for upkeep, but they DO cover 10mg of ZepBound. It feels much more effective than WeGovy; so much so that I'm using it every other week.

    Wegovy progress - check it!

Congrats! So inspiring! I'm at my target weight now, working on maintenance. I tried stopping the shots completely but that backfired. I restarted at a low dose to stay on track and will continue lowering it, hoping to eventually stop completely. I will listen to my doc to maintain where I am...

    Wegovy progress - check it!

That's one of the more impressive transformations I've seen. Meds help, but that takes serious dedication to achieve.

    Down 50+ lbs this year!

Have you considered adding more protein to your diet and maybe adjusting your strength training to target those specific areas? It might help with the sagging.

    Down 65 in ~7 months!

I agree with Drop_Pal – you are a real inspiration! I'm turning 35 soon and just celebrated some major wins with my health too. Two years ago, my POTS meant I could only do like, 8 minutes of recumbent cycling. Now I can bike for almost an hour! Feeling great is even better than looking great...

    GLP-1 & No Results?!

I stumbled on this while hunting for a closed group some friends and I set up to share our GLP-1 experiences. The search turns up absolutely nothing for the full name or any of the brand names. No group, no page, no post. I cannot even pull up what my friends posted on their own private...

    Super big and starting Mounjaro!

Congrats on starting! My tips: - Drink lots of water or you will get constipated. - Take a fiber supplement. - Have protein shakes on hand. When you increase the dose, you might not eat much. Protein helps minimize muscle loss. - Be okay with slow weight loss. Aim for 2 lbs a week. - Fill your...

    Super big and starting Mounjaro!

Here is some advice: 1. Take before photos (front, back, sides). Keep them private. Compare monthly. It will help you stay motivated. 2. Thrift stores will be your friend as you shrink. Think of it as renting clothes. Your shoe size might change, too. 3. Keep a set of old clothes to try on...
