Hubby's mad about my Ozempic. Help!

i have empathy for people working on weight at any size. but i notice real negative vibes when i see very obese people saying they're healthy. also get annoyed at overweight parents on social posting 'healthy' cooking videos when it's processed junk. makes me angry for the kids.

Ever get a shady batch of pep?

Contaminated batches usually signal themselves - unexpected sting, site swelling, or fever within hours are the red flags.

    Trouble with refillable injection pens?

Day 7 here. No major 'feels' yet. Mind's a bit clearer in the afternoon — not as foggy — but could be placebo. Split 5ml IM into 2.5ml per thigh at first, switched to full 5ml rotating thighs. Inject slow, take 3 minutes. Solution goes in easy.

    Secretagogues before GH?

Couple vendors' products test with higher endotoxin levels. Few manufacturers supply all the vendors so this could affect multiple brands. Only way to be sure is test what you buy before you use it. Janoshik's the gold standard but there's other US labs people trust too.

    GLP-1 Plateau - Anyone Else?

I've heard that perimenopause can make these meds less effective. Have you considered that, Gym_Strong4?

Reta from overseas, worth the risk?

when I get close to goal I'm gonna try dropping my weekly dose a tiny bit each month and see what happens. testing what's the lowest dose that keeps my weight, blood sugar and bp under control. then maybe extend the spacing - no solid data on maintenance dosing yet so this is all experimental...

    Off the meds, still good!

I hear you there! I've been considering a very slow taper when I get to my goal, just to minimize any rebound. Maybe that's something to discuss with your doctor?

    Off the meds, still good!

Why stop altogether instead of just going to a lower, maintenance dose?

    Expired GLP-1...eek!

Just wore this tiny leather motorcycle jacket I bought in Florence years ago to church and felt amazing—tall, lean, all that. Haven't felt like that in forever. Still tired though, gotta build muscle back up. After maybe 10 more pounds I'll drop to maintenance. This stuff is wild. New life at 48.

    GLP-1 Plateau - Anyone Else?

Will your insurance cover Mounjaro or Zepbound? I just switched from Ozempic to Mounjaro because Ozempic stopped suppressing my appetite. They're all effective at lowering blood sugar.

Nice! It's good to hear some positive stories about life after GLP-1s.

Best vial size for reconstituted Reta?

India Mart is like Alibaba—just a clearing house. Found a ton of Cerebrolysin there and one message triggered 6 vendors on WhatsApp all selling the same thing. Prices all over the place. Went with KMOverseas though for their range.

    Ozempic face a myth?

added metformin in february and it did absolutely nothing for weight loss. i'm not diabetic so it was just to break the plateau. keeping it because there might be other benefits and it's cheap, but want to look more into the muscle loss and b12 stuff first.

    Pic popped up - wow!

I agree about the pictures! It's like I still see the 'old me' in the mirror sometimes. But then I look at photos from a few months ago and I'm shocked. Keep taking those comparison pics, Witty_Log!

    Travel on GLP-1s: A Win?

Guys, does anyone else feel like they'll be on these meds FOR-EV-ER? I swear, I'd get a second job if my insurance stopped covering it! I started at around 300 lbs, type 2 diabetic, completely out of control. Now I'm at 155 lbs and my diabetes is GONE! I've changed everything else in my life, of...

    GLP-1 roller coaster ride

I had a similar experience when I bumped up to 1.7mg. The nausea was awful! I barely lost anything, and the fatigue was unreal. I ended up going back down a dose, and it helped a lot.
