    Reta: Split Doses vs. Weekly?

Wolf_Dad604 And if lower once-weekly doses don't help, you can try split dosing (half a dose twice a week, so every 3.5 days). It's annoying to track, honestly, so I'd only split once I'd tried everything else for the nausea. Hope the next attempt goes better for you :)

    Wellbutrin + Naltrexone Experiences?

Running Wellbutrin with Mounjaro, and I suspect Wellbutrin makes my body respond intensely. Maintenance is 1.25 mg weekly, and going to 2.5 weekly means a steady 1-2 lbs loss each week. Bonus, I don't feel like bed rotting all day!

Can you add more bac water to an already-mixed vial?

3ml of bac water goes in to dissolve it all, then I pull half out into one pen cartridge and the other half into a second, and top each up with another 1.5ml. Both cartridges get matched by color, the blue level, so I know each holds a similar amount. A bigger vial for the 100mg would simplify...

Hungry after my dose... anyone else?

This drug hit me hard as well, so I turned my dose down until I could eat. Then I stay put until I notice real hunger again and nudge it up a bit.

    Weirdest Ozempic food cravings?

I began Ozempic in early January and have lost 20 kg, but this past month I gained 3 kg and I'm binge eating every day. The sweet tooth is out of control, I'm inhaling everything at home without even enjoying it, and the grocery store is a disaster for my willpower. I'm terrified I won't stop...

    Tirzepatide: Dilution Q's

Same here, from R40 through R140. Normally the math is simple: a 30mg vial gets 3ml BAC and I pin whatever my dose is. Other times I mix the BAC amount depending on my dose versus the milligrams in the vial so each shot is nearly full and the vial ends up empty. If that makes sense.

GLP-1: Injection site + Costco finds?

At Costco a pharmacist did my first shot and demonstrated each step, and as a needle-phobic nervous wreck, it paid off once I injected by myself at home. Could be worth asking your pharmacy to help with the next injection.

Switching from Tirz to Reta...worth trying?

Should tirz or sema be doing the job for you, I'd hold off switching until a plateau. Both also cut liver fat. Switching to Reta might not deliver the same appetite suppression you're used to, and you could get side effects you don't expect. Mine turned out to be allodynia. Whenever you try a...

    Another goal weight adjustment!

My original goal seemed realistic, but I didn't grasp that I chose that number based on my appearance at that weight years ago, when I had way more muscle and lifted regularly. Now I have a more sedentary muscle base after years of having kids and autoimmune illness, so that number doesn't suit...

    GLP-1s making me numb?

Nothing like this for me so far. Perhaps I've simply not used one for long? Curious, honestly, what it would feel like if it ever happens to me.

    Nothin' tastes good! Help!

Try sipping bone broth or picking at some protein-rich cheese. Toast and saltines alone just aren't giving you enough to work with.

    Ozempic success at low dose!

Currently testing my way from 1mg up toward 2mg. Never wanted total appetite suppression, just enough to feel normal hunger at mealtimes without cravings hitting me all day long. Working out well so far. Honestly think people chasing zero hunger through higher doses are shortchanging themselves...

Losing slow & steady... I'm good with it!

Right there with you. No rush on my end either, honestly just aiming to drop maybe 10 pounds. Good luck though, hoping it all goes smoothly for you!

Ozempic shut down the food chatter!

Ozempic makes hunger and cravings so much easier to handle. Congrats to you! Know exactly how big a milestone that is!

    Am I a GLP-1 fraud?

Seeing a lot of jealousy in these comments, honestly, just my take. The difference is obvious though, 10kg is a serious win when you're already sitting at a healthier number! Congrats!

    Ozempic face a myth?

I'm 70 and nearly back to being slim again, and I don't have a single new wrinkle aside from a couple faint lines near my neck. That whole "ozempic face" thing feels like something jealous people made up.

    Partners in Health!

Being able to manage weight through exercise and strict diet until the mid 40s and then pre-diabetes changing that is such a common story and the reason the medication approval history starting with diabetes matters. The OP's year on tirzepatide for T2D with the A1C result is exactly the outcome...

    Six Month Reta Check-in

65 pounds on Tirz before adding Reta and sleep not affected is such a clean experience to report! The 15mg ceiling on Tirz is exactly when most people make the move to Reta. Six months in is a great milestone - how is it feeling compared to the Tirz-only days?

    Best bite first? Anyone else?

the same-choices-less-of-them outcome is the most common long-term food relationship on GLP-1 - the enjoyment of what you like is still there, the quantity and frequency naturally drop without the same effort it would take unmedicated. people who expected food to become joyless or to lose their...

Higher dose = more weight loss?

20 pounds on the first medication, switching to Tirzepatide at max dose and then stalling 8 lbs from goal is such a frustrating place to land. But staying near goal is also a valid outcome - the medication still did most of the work. 6mg with 22 lbs down and still moving is a different picture...
