I agree with FastingGains, keeping up the protein is key. I've been finding it hard to eat enough some days, so I've started supplementing with protein shakes. Not the most exciting dinner, but it gets the job done.
Great work sticking with it! Love the picture tracking. Wish I'd done that early on. Knowing that health comes before motivation some days isn't enough.
I usually just throw chicken tenderloins (which I buy because they are ready to cook unlike breasts) in a pan with some store-bought sauce. Super easy.
Started at 440, got down 120 in a year. Then I got lazy with doses and lost focus. Back on it now and feeling motivated again. My A1c is at 5.9 which is great.
Yeah, the pen thing gets asked constantly. Here in the UK they give you 4 needles and tell you to bin the pen after 4 doses. It's 1.34 mg/mL with 1.5 mL total = 2.01 mg, so there's definitely 1 mg left. Docs rarely explain this which confuses a lot of people about whether they're using it right.
Get it! Like living next to a construction site and the crew quits for the weekend — suddenly you notice the noise was insane. Food noise stays gone on higher doses. Most folks crave more as the week goes, but some drop 80 pounds always at 2.5. Dosing up isn't required. Fair warning though if...
Frozen veggies, fish, meat, or chicken in the air fryer: set the time and temp, and you are done!
Oatmeal with hemp seeds, sesame seeds, berries, and skyr: mix and eat.
When desperate: canned beans and canned tuna, mix and eat.
Started KLOW about a month back. Migraines dropped way down—less frequent and severe. Heard others say the same. Which pep in the stack is doing this? Trying to figure if I could just cycle GHK-cu solo.
I look so different from my old passport photo now. Haven't traveled internationally yet but I'm worried they'll flag me. Bet we'll see way more passport problems as everyone gets on these meds lol.
FDA just shut down two big compounding shops this month for making three-hormone products. 503a pharmacies probably next. Reddit's gonna flood here once things lock down.
Bitter taste, low appetite, headaches first few days are pretty common. The headache's probably no food or caffeine. Even if not hungry, small simple stuff keeps your energy up. Avoid long stretches without eating. Usually settles week or two in.
My advice is slow down and stick to 4-week titration so you don't build tolerance fast. Loss is a mix of the med and what you do. You're training your mind and body both. Slow wins long-term. Once you find a seller you trust it's tempting to try everything but then if you stall it's hard to know...
don't know about the pills but yeah, once i eat i think about food more. easier to not eat at all. think it's psychological, undoing years of food noise ruling my life. just takes time.
year ago i researched diy bac water. comfort level was if i'm buying grey from a vendor i trust with good test results i may as well try my own. pharma sterile water plus ba in a vial. ba's fairly accessible.
Even low dose 2.5mg can be rough. I took 1mg of something combined with 7.5mg tirz a couple weeks ago and I'm only just getting back to eating normal. Hope it gets better for you soon.
Ok, I get it, you all think I'm a moron. I'm not going to argue that point. I was just so excited to start, and I was nervous about needles, and I just didn't pay attention. Live and learn, right?
It's tough when you've put in the work and the scale just won't budge. I know the feeling. Sometimes these medications can help overcome those plateaus. If you have coverage and it's financially viable, it's worth considering link
