Ozempic Journey - Thoughts after 1.5 Years

PCOS driving BP and prediabetes alongside the weight is the exact mechanism GLP-1s address most directly - the off BP meds outcome at 330 to 260 is consistent with what the research shows for metabolic syndrome cases.

    My progress is showing!

take a split dose: 0.375 on day 1 and 0.375 on day 4. splits smooth out the dose over the whole week and cut down side effects. if you're on a 1mg pen, full dose is 74 clicks. 0.75 is 55, 0.50 is 37, 0.375 is 27.

    One year of GLP-1s!

My tracking didn't update for 3 weeks straight—that's the time from when the label was made to when it hit the US. Knowing that calmed me down. Basically once it's out, it arrives when it arrives, nothing you can do about it.

Anyone else get grossed out by food on sema?

I do overnight oats—chia, oats, milk to soak. Next morning add fruit (banana, blueberry, kiwi), top with Greek yogurt. Sometimes can't finish it, put the rest back for an afternoon snack.

Stomach bug or just... the meds?

I think I might have had something similar happen after a family dinner. I ate WAY more than normal, and paid the price. Is it possible to get sick just from overeating with these meds?

Stomach bug or just... the meds?

Oh man I totally get it! I had something similar around the holidays. I usually get a little queasy and some tummy issues for a few days after I take my shot. I usually inject on Sundays. But it was a Wednesday that I started feeling sick, woke up in the middle of the night not knowing which end...

Stomach bug or just... the meds?

I posted yesterday about some awful tummy troubles after eating some not-so-great stuff (shared some muffins in the morning, a couple nibbles of a chocolatey treat later) -- but I've felt gross all day. Same stomach stuff. Just now, sitting on the bathroom floor at 1am AGAIN, it finally clicked...

    Slow and Steady Sema Journey

Honestly, it wasn't just the 1mg dose that did it for me, DenverDiva82. It was more like a cumulative effect over several months on various doses. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen right away!

    Slow and Steady Sema Journey

Hey all! Just wanted to share my experience for those who might be seeing slower results. I've been on semaglutide for about 10 months now. Didn't really notice any weight loss until around month 3, but now I'm consistently losing about 5 pounds each month. It's been a game changer for me -...

Coming off GLP-1 meds... anyone else?

What do you mean no one warned you? That doesn’t sound right. How did you get the medication since your Dr should have explained?
