    BP still high on GLP-1s?

Potassium deficiency can keep BP elevated despite weight loss. Worth testing levels.

    Tirz or Reta to start?

Body composition on GLP-1 without resistance training trends toward skinny-fat - the scale moves but the shape doesn't follow. Lifting is the part that fixes composition rather than just weight. The two together produce the visible change.

When did you *feel* the Tirz?

Afternoon drowsiness in the early Tirz phase is common. The energy pattern stabilizes as metabolism adjusts, usually within the first 2-3 months at dose.

    Hitting my Mounjaro Milestone!

i do low and slow. 0.5mg weeks 1–4, 0.8mg week 5. down 12 lbs so far. doing tracking, lifting, cardio for a solid deficit. goal is 20–25 this year, retraining my eating habits as i go. seem like a super responder—at 0.5 i could take or leave food. my 10mg vial's gonna expire first lol.

    Wow, this stuff WORKS!

Anyone else's loose skin just thick and ugly? Research says it's fast weight loss (not me), visceral fat, not enough protein (could be), not enough resistance training (big problem—had surgeries, couldn't exercise), not enough water (definitely not me). Hoping to get back to training soon...

    Face-to-face Friday!

People don't understand this is a metabolic drug, not a willpower thing. Look at the stats on what happens when people quit - most gain it all back unless they have T2D. You'll need ongoing adjustment. Ask your doctor when the time comes; it's not a 'finish and quit' thing.

    Nervous about starting GLP-1s?

low carb is a game changer. makes fasting easier. keeping blood sugar stable syncs with glp1s.

Anyone else feel this way about weight loss?

We used to crush a big bag of popcorn every week or two for movie nights. Now when we get it, most ends up in the trash after a month because I get tired of it after a few bites. Sad it doesn't hit like it used to, but not complaining.

Future peps... what's on the horizon?

I saw a Reddit thread about generic Ozempic being produced in Canada. Apparently there were delays, but it might be coming soon. They're guessing it'll cost around $120-$150 per pen.

Future peps... what's on the horizon?

I looked into it more. They ended the part of the trial with combined treatment for Obesity and T2D because of strategic business decisions. But they still have a separate phase 2 study open for combined treatment for Obesity only...

Future peps... what's on the horizon?

Great article! Thanks for sharing. I noticed that Eli Lilly stopped the Phase 2b trial for bimagrumab in Sept 2025 to focus on other things. Also, I was surprised not to see anything about Regeneron's phase 2 Courage trial here...

Wow, almost a year on the magic juice!

I think pharmacies and maybe fire departments usually take those when they're full, as long as you tape them up good.
