How long does your Tirz last in the fridge?

I've made travel vials before to keep my main stash from getting messed up by temperature swings. Travel vial stays at room temp, no big deal for a couple weeks. You could also dose right before you leave and when you get back, cuts down on what you need to carry. It's one of those things that...

Coming off GLP-1s: What's it like?

That's interesting about tapering off, HappyTale. I wonder if that makes a difference in the long run. I'm also curious about the maintenance dose some people are talking about. Is it really a lifetime thing?

Coming off GLP-1s: What's it like?

I had to discontinue use early Feb for surgery. My last shot was Feb 1st. By the 12th, the food chatter and severe hunger pangs, even right after eating, were back. It was awful. Also, the meds had been controlling some really bad IBS and gut problems. More than even the weight loss, getting...

Coming off GLP-1s: What's it like?

For those who have stopped taking GLP-1 meds, what was your experience? Did everything revert back to the way it was before, only with the benefit of being lighter and potentially more active? Did the constant thoughts about food and strong cravings return? Did your hunger become overwhelming...

    Down 64, aiming for more!

I'm with Flex_Tale on this one. You might feel good about the scale but then feel bad about the food. I changed my mind about rewarding myself with food – new shoes are my thing now!

    Best shapewear recs?

I think it's mostly loose skin, Bobby2005. It's weird, I lost like 70 lbs, but I still feel huge.

    Down 64, aiming for more!

Totally on board with the banana split! But don't let it be your only meal. Make it with the good stuff, and maybe share it with someone since it's pretty filling.

    Best shapewear recs?

Almost at my goal! Went from 220 to 150, size 16 to a size 8. What's the best shapewear to hide my stomach under t-shirts? PS, the body dysmorphia is REAL. I still feel like I'm a much bigger size.

GLP-1 costs are bumming me out

If you have Tricare, they *do* cover Mounjaro and semaglutide, but there are usually some hoops to jump through. You have to meet certain medical criteria. Ask your doctor to look into the prior authorization requirements!

GLP-1 costs are bumming me out

I see a weight management specialist who's covered under my insurance. He gets compounded sema from a local pharmacy for me. Cost is around $70 a month with delivery, which is a much better deal. I used to pay over $300 through an online service. Maybe your doctor can refer you to someone...

    Face Gains! Who dis?

Sure, Shed-Win. Everyone's different, but I found that adjusting my macros helped me break through plateaus. I focused on getting more protein and cutting back a bit on carbs. Also, making sure I'm drinking enough water seems to make a difference.

Down 76 lbs, now size 0! Pics!

I hear you about that extra skin. I'm down about 130 from my highest, and while I feel great, there's definitely some...remnants. Considering surgery myself, but it's a big decision.
