Scale stuck? Check other progress markers!

Measurements, energy level, clothing fit, and sleep quality are the markers that move when the scale doesn't - tracking those during stalls is what keeps the perspective right. The scale often catches up in a week or two after it looks stuck.

    Lost over 70 pounds!

235 to 159 in seven months is a strong sema result - that kind of pace is in the top range. Arms tend to lag behind the rest; skin and muscle tone catch up over the following year, especially with any resistance work.

Selank & Semax for ADHD? Anyone tried?

Selank and Semax work on anxiety and BDNF pathways - different mechanism than Adamax. If the goal is attention specifically, Semax tends to get more reported benefit for focus than Selank, which does more on the anxiety-reducing side that lets concentration land.

    Hit triple digits!

That's a great point, ShapeCrew. It's all about finding a healthy and sustainable balance. I'm starting to think about maintenance myself, and it's honestly a little scary!

    Hit triple digits!

That’s seriously amazing. Seeing that kind of progress is so inspiring to those of us still on the path. Posts like this kept me going when I first started on my journey.

Food just ain't the same anymore?

Dude, that's the opposite of what we want! I'm glad I'm not there yet, hopefully it stays that way. I still like my veggies.

    Stacking Reta and Tirz??

Thanks for the info, In_The_Making! I appreciate the straight talk. I don't want to wait another 3-4 months after the 8 months I've already waited since my accident to start losing weight. Good luck with your shoulders!

Food just ain't the same anymore?

I still enjoy food but deep fried or fatty food (like my formerly beloved pork belly) make me nauseated instantly so it's been so easy to give them up. I do miss dessert though- it does nothing for me anymore which is good but also a little sad

    Stacking Reta and Tirz??

Thanks, Sema_Sister, that's helpful. My wife's doc stopped her Ozempic 2 weeks before and after gallbladder surgery (she takes it for diabetes). I had a compound fracture in my right leg above the ankle in June 2025, didn't bear weight for 16 weeks and now I'm getting more surgery. Tibia...

    Stacking Reta and Tirz??

How long do you think you'll be off for surgery, In_The_Making? I've been looking into this topic, but there isn't much solid info. My surgeon said he'd love to prescribe Mounjaro, but he won't because there's no data on how it affects soft tissue or bone growth. Any insights?

Food just ain't the same anymore?

Anyone else find their favorite treats just aren't doing it for them anymore? I used to look forward to this huge sandwich from a local place, packed with meat and cheese and all the fixings. Now it just doesn't taste as awesome. Still enjoy food, but some things just aren't the same!

    Stacking Reta and Tirz??

What dosages are you using for each, RXPete?

    Stacking Reta and Tirz??

Yeah, I'm curious about this too. Reta isn't helping me with the constant food cravings.

    Lost 85lbs on Zep!

It takes work! I mean, the meds definitely help, but without the diet and exercise, I don't think I would have seen these results. I'm really strict about my diet and try to never miss the gym.

    Lost 85lbs on Zep!

Wow, I'm down 85 pounds in 8 months! That's like 38 kilos. Used to be around 230, now I'm at 145. Taking it for my diabetes. Been hitting the weights hard, 5 times a week minimum, and I've built more muscle than ever before. Feel really solid. Eating low carb, tons of protein, and no sugar...

Smart Scale Upgrade - Worth it?

I got a body fat scale for $50 and it connects to my phone just fine. It tracks weight, BMI, body fat, water, muscle mass, BMR, heart rate, and shows your progress over time. Good deal for the price.
