Vial potency all over the place?

In *your* case, the general consensus is to use the test result to figure out your dose. So you can get a more precise pin. They're just trying to charge extra for the overfill.

Vial potency all over the place?

Thanks for pointing that out. I never figured out why they were suddenly selling the overfill as part of the product. I'm joining the boycott. 25 is 25!

Vial potency all over the place?

Exactly. Those vials were supposed to be 10mg, but they tested around 12mg. We told @JoonyO to go with the tested amount unless they wanted a "spicier" dose. They said no, because of possible side effects. 🙂

We were discussing something similar recently. Check out this thread.🙂 https://another forum

    Ozempic face is real!

Honestly, the first 6 months were the fastest. Then it slowed down a bit, but that's when I really started focusing on strength training and building muscle. That made a huge difference, both in how I looked and how I felt.

Thanks, everyone! It's been a long road, but definitely worth it. Seeing your own progress (and other people's!) helps so much.

    Ozempic face is real!

I started on semaglutide in June '23, but I hit my highest weight around March '23. I also started weight lifting around August '24, which has been a MASSIVE help. I never noticed the change until people commented on how I looked. Total, I've dropped about 115 pounds and I'm still going! 😁

7 months on Sema and feeling great!

I'd been on sema for over a year without any trouble when suddenly the cramps hit hard and I got these nasty sulfur burps. Lasted about two weeks and I was pretty worried. My friend suggested I try Metamucil and honestly it worked. Looking back I think I'd been going overboard with sushi all...

Hit my goal a year later!

Needing an extender to comfortable, then having spare on the belt. That's proof in the seatbelt.

    Can you see the change?

curious thing to track but yeah, makes sense. basically a visual log of your progress without needing the scale.

    KLO-W and Lipoc : experiences?

It depends how you mix it. If you reconstitute a 10mg vial with 1ml of water, then 10 units on an insulin syringe equals 1mg. So 3 units would be 0.3mg. Start low! Less than 500mcg to see how you react.

Reta: How bad could it REALLY be?

That's smart. It's easy to get sucked into the hype, but some risks aren't worth it. I'm generally healthy, so I'm willing to roll the dice a bit more.

Reta: How bad could it REALLY be?

We aren't going to do all your research for you. 😉 Also, most of us aren't doctors... Read the studies, like SURMOUNT by EL, and check the number of test subjects. They list side effects and severity. List your concerns and ask members. A racing heart might not worry you or be fatal (according...

Honestly, nobody knows for sure. It's still in trials.

Reta: How bad could it REALLY be?

I totally agree. Lots of meds have side effects, but they're worth it. I'm just saying GLP-1s are so new and positive that it's hard to believe there won't be some unknown side effects eventually. Maybe they're miracle drugs, but I'm still waiting for the bad news.

Reta: How bad could it REALLY be?

We joke so we don't cry. We all know there's some risk, even with prescribed meds. There's always a catch, we just don't know what it'll be yet.

I'm worried about some rare forms of cancer popping up.

    Am I crazy? Injection worries

There's always some left in the pen. You could try to extract it with a regular insulin syringe if you want, but it's probably not even a tenth of a dose.

    Am I crazy? Injection worries

You're golden! I've been on this med for years. Sometimes I don't feel a thing; sometimes it burns a bit.
