    First week - Feeling hopeful!

First week side effects are often the worst it gets - the body adjusts over the following weeks and most people find week three or four looks very different. Hanging in is the right call at this stage.

Cheapest way to pay outta pocket?

Compounding cuts the cost significantly - that's the most practical near-term answer.

    Face Changes - Anyone else?

Face changes are one of the more striking markers because the face holds fat in ways the rest of the body doesn't show in photos - people who know you notice it first. The Reddit exercise-banning pattern is a moderation overcorrection, and most GLP-1 forums are more open to the metabolic...

Mounjaro - actually working for me!

To @LiquidGold-2.5, when starting sema, definitely start low and go slow with the dose increases. It helps minimize potential side effects. Also, focus on eating smaller, more frequent meals, and stay hydrated! Good luck!

    GLP-1s kill cravings?

It diminishes everything. Lack of pleasure is a pretty common side effect with these meds (speaking from personal experience).

Tirzepatide + Cannabis - Anyone else?

It's interesting how much emphasis is placed on the medication, but not on lifestyle changes! I saw a headline that said something about a 'groundbreaking discovery' that food may be making us fat, LOL. Maybe the relentless munchies are the problem and not just the weed?

Tirzepatide + Cannabis - Anyone else?

I'm so glad to see this post! I live in a legal state, and I've always used cannabis heavily. It definitely contributed to my weight gain because everything tastes amazing when I'm high. I thought I'd have to stop completely while on tirz, but it turns out the tirz totally kills the munchies...

I get that on reta, a handful of whole grain crackers usually does the trick.

    Reta kinda working? Still unsure...

Just a note on a related issue, I've heard reports of reduced libido when taking Reta due to reduced dopamine production in the gut. Something to be aware of.

    Reta kinda working? Still unsure...

I dropped a bunch of water weight early on, and my weight went up and down. If I remember correctly, it took a couple weeks for the appetite effects to kick in for me, and even then it didn't completely kill my appetite. That was at 2mg a week. It got better when I went up to 4mg.

    Reta kinda working? Still unsure...

You're just at the beginning, Bee_Quest. Retatrutide needs time to accumulate in your system. The first month is really about preparing your body for the full effects. Keep reading the forum and maybe look into the clinical trials for retatrutide. Patience and consistency are key.

Tone_Diary Thank you! I mostly walk, about 30-45 minutes a day, sometimes a bit longer on weekends. Nothing too intense!

Down 88 lbs since May! 💪

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my progress. I started this journey around May 20th, weighing about 303 lbs, and as of today, October 15th, I'm at 215 lbs. That's roughly 88 lbs shed in a little under 5 months! It's been tough, but honestly, it's so worth it. I've changed my diet, started a...
