    Is this for realz?

    Still a rip-off. I get my custom-mixed GLP-1 for about $140 monthly.

    Down 85! Still going!

It's wonderful to hear about all the health improvements you've made, not just the weight loss! So happy for you!

Anyone else feeling like they waste food now?

I still get fast food sometimes. But now I only eat half and save the rest. Small progress is still progress. Also, no food shaming!

    Freezer storage for vials?

Speaking of GLP-1s, has anyone else noticed a huge change in their relationship with food, thanks to their prescription? I've been able to finally stick to a healthy diet and workout plan, and the weight is slowly coming off.

Anyone else feeling like they waste food now?

I know, right? It's wild. It was my bday and my bestie made my favorite cake. It was at the office, and before I would have hidden it, taken it home, and stuffed my face. This time I gave it away. I felt bad, but I'm happy I'm getting healthier. 😳😳

    Freezer storage for vials?

I have a cooler like that. I like keeping my vials in their original packaging, label them clearly, and then arrange them on top of the cooler's foam insert before putting the whole thing in the freezer. I just think it's less confusing that way.

    Insurance coverage for GLP-1s explained

Really thoughtful post. I would add one policy nuance: the old federal exclusion for "weight loss" drugs was written when these medications were considered lifestyle or cosmetic aids. The evidence base now includes cardiovascular outcome data, which complicates that categorization. If a GLP-1...

    Lost weight, gained...dysmorphia?

It's wild how much our perception can be skewed. I've been overweight since I was a kid, and even though I'm finally feeling healthier thanks to this medication, it's hard to shake that old mindset.

    Lost weight, gained...dysmorphia?

First off, congrats on the 40 pounds CarbDone!! I know how you feel, I've shed over 100 and still have days where I feel like I haven't changed at all. Don't think it ever fully vanishes. Gives me sympathy for those naturally slim people who complain about feeling 'fat'. It's mental warfare, and...

    Lost weight, gained...dysmorphia?

Ugh, body dysmorphia is the worst. I *feel* bigger now, but my clothes are practically falling off. Pictures are usually better too. It's like the mirror is lying. Or when I'm grabbing clothes I grab sizes that are WAYYY too big for me now.

    Mounjaro 5mg -28 lbs since Sept '24!

That's great progress! I've been considering GLP-1 meds for a while now. What has your experience been like in terms of side effects?

    BAC expiration date...really?

Found some old boxes of pins and sterile vials still wrapped up in a cupboard. No expiration stamps on them. Probably 15 years old. Tossing them but curious - how long do they actually last and what breaks down? The rubber top part?

    Flying is getting easier! 🎉

Like Ant_Dude89, I started in February. It's great to hear about people getting back that feeling of control. I just feel like I make much more mindful choices now.

That sounds like a great non-scale victory!

Doc's Insta post on Ozempic 🤔

Incredibly, this old way of thinking runs so deep in me that I feel guilty and somewhat ashamed about using these meds to lose weight. I can't get rid of the feeling that it's a moral failing, that I wasn't strong enough, that I'm just lazy, and that I've finally given in. Something that...

    Ozempic changed your taste buds?

I'm curious, what's the max weekly dose folks are taking? I'm at .5 and my blood sugars are still a mess.
