GLP-1 side effects - new bottle woes?

The probiotic approach for GI management is underrated on these meds - a lot of people find a product specifically formulated around GLP side effects helps more than generic options. Worth sticking with it consistently rather than ad hoc.

    GLP-1s: My decade-long weight journey

273 to 195 and back, then down again - that non-linear decade is the more honest weight journey picture. Skin recovery depends on duration of sustained loss more than rate.

Grey market GLP-1s vs Brand Name?

US warehouse sourcing reduces customs risk and usually has better quality verification than direct overseas - the markup reflects that tradeoff. Third-party testing is the real distinguisher across all sources.

    Officially overweight - happy dance!

I can totally relate to that fear of sizes! I lost about 70 pounds, and still find myself reaching for the larger sizes out of habit. It's a mental game for sure. I recently bought a dress in a smaller size, and it was such a confidence boost when it fit! Keep going, Frankie_18!

Mounjaro for T2D but weight loss stalled?

new to this, week 2 on mounjaro. started cause my blood levels were out of whack, not really chasing weight loss. curious to see how losing weight will show off my muscles though. what's all the HW/SW/CW/GW stuff? and how do you know when to bump up from where you are?

    Ozempic plateau during perimenopause?

Been on it three years, dropped 150 pounds. Never really 'felt' it kick in, honestly. Food noise was quiet for like a month at 1.7mg then came roaring back. Tried Topamax with my nutritionist and that did the trick. I was on it about a year.

    So nervous to start sema!

No emotional stuff for me, and I'm usually prone to depression. I've got ADHD, anxiety, the works—on meds for all of it. Got off one med that was making me gain weight, but the weight stuck around till I started this. Just some constipation and I've lost 120 pounds in 6 years. Can't complain.

    Slow progress buddies?

Yes, weight loss is totally possible without increasing your activity! The meds help regulate appetite and blood sugar, which are the main drivers. Exercise just helps to tone up and burn more calories, but it's not essential initially. Start slow if you're nervous!

    Slow progress buddies?

You're not a slow loser at all. You've been losing consistently at a healthy rate for a year. That is great! I know you want it to be faster, but it is what it is, and you're doing better than last year. I'm about 6 weeks behind you, with a similar rate of loss.

    Creatine While on GLP-1?

I agree with Taylor_09 re: those gummies. I tried some once and they were like stale candy. I definitely prefer the powder mixed in with my protein shake. Tastes fine and no weird texture.

    Week 1 on GLP-1 - anyone else?

I know someone who always wanted a magic pill to fix their relationship with food. Turns out? These meds can be it. They literally wished for something like this since they were a kid, to just feel normal around food. It's kind of amazing. Some of us really carry silent battles with food, body...

    Creatine While on GLP-1?

Yeah, it's great! Between that and making sure I get enough protein, I feel the best I have in a lot of years.

    Week 1 on GLP-1 - anyone else?

I had a similar start. Almost at the 2-month mark (currently on 0.5mg) and I'm not sure if the effects have increased, but the mental quiet and decreased appetite have stuck around. I'm supposed to go up to 1mg soon, but I think I'll stick with 0.5mg if it keeps working.

    Creatine While on GLP-1?

I've used it on and off for many years. Might it cause some slight water retention? Possibly. However, I definitely observe a benefit in my workouts. It also helps prevent cramps and improves my endurance. Perhaps a 10-15% increase in performance. Best to try it and see for yourself. Buy a good...

    Stacking peps in one vial?

Just be careful with that advice, especially with small doses. It can be tough to draw super small amounts accurately on a regular syringe. Sometimes diluting it more is better for accuracy.
