A year on meds, down 80+ lbs!

Plateau after significant loss is common - the body recalibrates to defend the new weight. If 75 lbs works for you, that's a valid stopping point.

Long term GLP-1 use: what to expect

Lipomas develop over years - the timeline alone rules out a short peptide run as the cause.

    Cagri dosing: share your protocol!

Most run cagri from 0.3mg up with slow steps - the appetite effects layer on what's already working, which is why small increments matter.

Air bubbles in your shot, ugh?

Fried food messes with this dose because digestion's slower—all that grease just sits and triggers nausea hard. Keep it light, eat small, sips of water, ginger or mint tea. Diet change matters way more than switching injection sites.

    Foods tasting weird, anyone else?

Anyone else use THC? I've found that even though my appetite is reduced overall, if I use cannabis, the munchies can overpower the medication. I try to use it later in the evening so I can just go to sleep before the munchies kick in!

I haven't told many people I am on this medication. People can be so judgy. It's no one's business.

GLP-1 Slow Start - Anyone Else?

I've read that even if the scale isn't moving, you can still be seeing changes in your body composition. Maybe consider getting a DEXA scan to track muscle gain and fat loss?

GLP-1 Slow Start - Anyone Else?

Look into something called the 'woosh effect'. It might be what you're experiencing.

Ozempic pen carrier - cool or overkill?

That's a really good point. I'm planning a trip to Asia soon, and I'm already stressed about what to do with the used needles. I saw a reddit thread about this... I think I might just collect them in a small, sturdy container and bring them back home. Seems like the easiest option.

Ozempic pen carrier - cool or overkill?

Yeah, my big worry with traveling is the temperature. Does Ozempic absolutely have to be kept cold?

Gained all the weight back. Anyone else?

Nothing to be ashamed of. For most, these are long-term medications. A small percentage can stop and maintain, but it's uncommon.

    Down 60+ lbs!

Just a heads-up, I've been dealing with some hair shedding. If this is happening to anyone else, I'd suggest starting minoxidil spray ASAP. I also take saw palmetto to block DHT, and it's been a game-changer. You can find both on that big online retailer for cheap.

    This looks really well-designed!

    Down 60+ lbs!

This resonates so much! I started in late August '25 at about 260 lbs, and I'm down to 190 or less now. About a 70-pound loss! And still only at a low dose of sema. Best decision ever. People who doubted me before are now asking for info, it's hilarious.

Gained all the weight back. Anyone else?

Please don't be ashamed. If you discontinue blood pressure medication, your blood pressure will increase. If you stop statins, your cholesterol will rise. If you stop insulin, you may face a life-threatening crisis. These meds need to be considered as a long-term treatment for a chronic illness...
