Only done Tirz, flirting with Sema and Reta for reduced sides?

Running tirz low and slow for going on eight months, and honestly not fully sold on how the side effects stack up against the actual benefits, wondering if a different compound in this class might suit me better. Anyone else dealt with rough sleep on tirz specifically, low deep sleep stages, low...

    My GLP-1 journey

This hits so true. Really helps mentally, since sometimes we still picture ourselves as fat! 200+ pounds down by the way.

Food Fight in My Head... Quiet Now!

The cognitive load of that ongoing internal negotiation about every food decision is one of the things that is hardest to explain to someone who never experienced it - it consumes mental bandwidth that was never supposed to be taken up by basic daily decisions. Having that quiet is not just an...

    Metformin AND Ozempic?!

Starting metformin in the prediabetic range at 6.4 and then a year and a half on ozempic with 80 lbs down and A1C into most likely normal range is the full metabolic correction story. The OP's 15 lbs on metformin then stalling before Ozempic is the first chapter of a similar path. The...

    Reta strength fading already?

The ISR site reaction without other measurable effect is actually the more common early pattern with secretagogues at that dose - the immune activation at the injection site is local and not a proxy for systemic effect. CJC/Ipa combinations typically need 6-8 weeks before the downstream effect...

Down 35 lbs in 3 Months - Sharing My Journey!

15 months and 48 pounds and reflecting on the normal things that changed along the way - that's the real measure of it. The weight number gets a lot of the attention but the day-to-day stuff accumulating over a year is what makes it stick. That perspective tends to come after you've actually...

    Neat syringe disposal gadgets!

The needle-change-as-safety-measure intuition is backwards in practice - each additional manipulation of a sterile system introduces another exposure opportunity rather than eliminating one. The safest needle is the one that was on the syringe at the time of drawing and goes directly into the...

Stable maintenance dose — how long did it take to find yours?

Looked into it but didn't go through with it. Way too many horror stories. Found one here quick enough.

Sema working even with a good diet?

This carb thing fascinates me. I'm naturally carnivore and loved the low-carb trend. But all these GLP posts talk about needing more carbs, which contradicts 20 years of diet advice. Carbs put weight on me just looking at them. Then I read the Surmount studies recommend 50% carbs. Confusing...

    One year on the shot!

Same here honestly. Weekly shot, life goes on. I don't obsess over it or second-guess myself constantly. Works fine as is without all the mental gymnastics some folks seem to need.

    Weight Back After Stopping?

That swallowing issue is rough. Had my own incident with food stuck for hours and ended up sedated for an endoscopy. Turned out I have eosinophilic esophagitis, take budesonide now and it helps. Didn't think the shot was connected but getting checked out was definitely the right call.

Tired all the time on GLP-1?

Pics from June '24 till Today!

Started June last year, finally hit goal today. Feel like new person. Minimal side effects - some nausea early, managed constipation with magnesium.
